Just delivered our first baby boy, great service from reception to nurses to our gynae and everyone in between. Easy link to Discovery as well so seamless process checking in and leaving. Highly recommended.

Was admitted for c/Section, admission process was quite smooth and the staff there was friendly and helpful, theatre also was awesome, then post procedure it was the worst experience ever you'll call for help no one will attend to you on time and it is bad as you'll be in pain unable to move after surgery. I must say I was very disappointed on their nursing staff they will gossip by the nursing station when the bell rings before attending to patients, they don't check on the wounds for complications, if you're lucky to get 1 to attend to you for pain control medication trust me it will take 2hours for you to get pain medication. Netcare standard is really going dawn the drain

We were there for a procedure. Such friendly security and so helpful. Safe parking in the parkade. They took us right up to our car afterwards as my daughter was still woozy. Excellent care. Would definitely recommend.

I wish I could give zero stars. Maternity Ward nurses are the worst. Do not want to even get into nightshift nurses. They think they always right. They don't really care about your newborn. You can be screaming in pain, they refuse to call the doctor because they think they know better. They have attitude issues. They take about 10min to answer your emergency button so good luck if your newborn needs CPR. Nightshift nurses don't help with feedings or changes.

Pam Khambule receptionist/admin gave me the worst attitude, telling me that I must go complain to the head office because I got frustrated that I have completed the online pre-admin only to find that their system is not updated. I had to furnish the same information for her to capture.

Yoh I feel helpless yet I'm at the hospital, since I entered here at 13: 30 and got admitted but even now I haven't got any medications that my Dr prescribed for me. Day shift nurses knocked off and since I was last checked by them and it's already 20: 30. Haven't eaten for the past 6 days and worst part I'm pregnant, the Dr told me medication will help but here I am feeling so weak without any medication after 7 hours of being admitted. I'm so helpless. I feel like discharging myself and just go home. This is the worst hospital ever

The receptionist dont know their work especially the dark one with glasses and a fade haircut. He absolutely know nothing about medical aid. It took me 3 hours just open a file for my baby because he just thought my medical aid does not cover Parklane. It was not the first time experiencing the wrath of this short tempered guy.

Hey, I'm feeling quite powerless as I sit here in the hospital. I checked in at about 1: 30 PM and was admitted. However, up until now, my doctor's prescribed medications have yet to be administered to me. The day shift nurses have finished their shift and because my last check-up was with them, that was at 8: 30 pm now. I have not had any food for the past six days, and what's more concerning is that I am pregnant. The doctor recommended medication to help alleviate my symptoms, but despite having been admitted for seven hours, I am still feeling extremely feeble without any medication. I feel powerless. I have an urge to leave the place and head back to my home. This hospital is absolutely terrible

Pediatric Ward, SATURDAY, 3rd of December 2022

When the nurses and I mean not one but two, tell you they are on lunch, they will see to your Baby's drip that came loose and was soaking her bandage, when they back from lunch.over an hour later, the one came and they removed the drip.

You know that feeling where, your most important person in your life, your precious baby girl that was born there a few days ago, had to wait for a full grown up to finish their lunch so that she can be attended to.remember this is a private hospital, the grown up adult i am referring to is a nurse who took some oath to place care above all else.it was painful, truth is.it is still painful, it's an experience that when it happened, i was so numb, i went into paralysis and did not even respond to both the nurses.but now weeks after, the shock filled my system.and when i look into my baby girls eyes, she's three weeks old now.i think.could people be so cruel. Pediatrician Ward was such a painful experience.i must for my own sake and that of my precious princess, must forgive and forget.

I’ve gotten the best treatment I’ve ever received at a hospital. Dr Francois Refief and the nurse, Nwabisa Goge were so lovely even at my lowest point in life.

I gave birth at parklane a week ago. It was beautiful. From labour ward sister ouma received us. Things didn’t go according to plan and we need in the OR with an emergency, the staff there was sensitive, calmed my nerves and showed real empathy. We where the transferred to ward 3 (gen maternity ward). A team of amazing sisters with patience and a willingness to show how to take care of a new born. I can’t mention all of them by sister khongela, Brenda, nosiphiwo, Sylvia and khanyile. An amazing group of care givers! Thank you thank you thank you!

So we all know that smoking should never be done, however it's one of those habits that is difficult to just give up. And this why a hospital will have a smoking area, having said that you would also expect the hospital to keep this area safe and clean as well as lit up at least. This is definitely not the case at Netcare Park Lane, the mear fact that the road needs to be crossed for a paitiant or anyone to have a smoke is unsafe on it own. Having ladies having to go out there is one thing now having ladies who are not well. Different story. Hopefully the hospital will take this comment into account and Try and actually do something to help the smokers with a little better condition. FYI, I don't smoke.
