Upon our entrance not even a single waiter came to assist we had to look for a waiter and we were being tossed waiter to waiter till Mla came to our rescue. He served us with great service and warmth. Only if all the waiters could stop profiling customers it could be nice. The food was great.

It is nice music to listen to, creates a great vibe and make people to dance and having fun. You can also have a conversation still. Follow strict Covid protocols. What is great is that it is a smoke free inside, which is a welcome addition to a night vibe. It proof you can get a packed house without having a smokey bar. Service is mostly efficient. News Cafe is traditionally not night club, but it has become a tradition now to hang out at night and enjoy a good vibe. So it is literally a total crowd day and night. Luckily the News Cafe has not been turned into a drive through. Security around the venue is now tighter after the incident where a man tried to enter the premises with his vehicle. The only nuisance are the car guards who are aggressive and very demanding. Never leave valuables inside tge boot or car as there are gangs operating in the area stealing from cars.

The burgers were surprisingly good. However, I would recommend going here to have a good time and drinks, not necessarily a dinner out type of place.

Lovely service even though you wait a long time on a busy day.

Went there yesterday. I booked a table prior, when I got there, there was no booking arranged. The couches are really old. The service was really bad. We had to wait over an hour for hubbly. The waitress was so disrespectful since we arrived. The manager was not even helpful. They really ruined my birthday outing. Never going back there again

Service was rather slow, waiting long for both drinks and food. When ordering a ribbeye steak I was presented with a T-bone steak, not cooked as ordered. We did query this but the manager even insisted that it was a ribeye, in spyte of the fact that it was identical to a T-bone ordered by another diner at our table. My order was also incomplete and the food was cold on arrival. The steak was also tough and flavourless. Mediocre at best, do not recommend. The Zucini Fries was good tho.

Fixed the couches and chairs please, in fact bring in new chairs and couches! We have been seen the once there for ages now and they are all damaged.

The food took forever to come and everyone was waiting for very long. There was no reassurance about whether or not there was something wrong with their kitchen equipment. We just sat around waiting and waiting for the food to arrive.

But the food was good and the waiters are courteous.

The food was awesome and the service was excellent, we were served by Munashe and he was an angel my only concern was the long Island, it was like drinking lemon juice. My suggestion is don't be stingy with alcohol.

I was quite uncomfortable here, it was cold, no heaters. I was also put off by the smokers who go to the smoking area to smoke and leave the door open causing all that disgusting cigarette smoke to come back inside and defeat the whole purpose of a seperate smoking area.

Good food, great service and a lovely vibe. Would absolutely recommend. The specials are great and there's a wide variety of drinks.

The drinks are very reasonable so you can get tipsy or even nake without breaking your bank balance! ;-)

Chilled placed to hangout with friends, good vibes, good food - know your customer kind of service.even more, , next to gautrain station. 4mins walk.since I leave in pta and avoid driving on traffic, I can stay a bit longer and catch last train.had a great moment

The music stopped at 01: 30 instead of 2am. I am disappointed because of that but otherwise the music was good.

It bring me great displeasure in providing a low rating, as I'm not usually one to complain about anything, however I think that bad service is where this line is drawn. My bad experience started in the early hours of the morning before work. It took literally 30mins to make an early bird breakfast, with only one other customer in the building apart from me. What's worse was, while waiting in between the guy tells me that there were 5 minutes left for the food to be ready, only for it to arrive 10 mins later after I asked another waiter to check it for me. I've heard a lot about the bad experiences experienced from friends during the early hours of the morning. Hopefully the next time things will change, and hopefully by then I can change my rating as well.

Always have a great time here, if you’re looking for a vibe this is the place to be on a Saturday night! Great cocktails and alcohol. Amazing nachos and burgers. Incredibly friendly and committed staff.

Good Music beautiful view and excellent service definitely will be back but dont have jalapeno peppers.

I like the vibe and the music of the place. They also have alot of cocktails to choose from. They don't close early so if you want to go out and have loads of fun this is a great place to either start or end

The sercice was bad, my waitress was no where to be found, waited 10 to 15min to get a refill of my, after waiting close to 30min for a meal she brought the wrong order.poor poor service
