25Good Portuguese food. It’s very authentic. The staff are kind and the owners are Portuguese. Good place to take the family.
Again, our experience was top class. Please try the Pecanha steak, you will not be disappointed. Naturally, the sea food platter is out of this world with generous portions and garlic butter. The dessert was very enjoyable. The waitress understood our orders and is experienced in dealing with patrons. The owners are in attendance and are friendly. Safe parking is appreciated.
Convivial atmosphere with acute attention to quality by the owners! Excellent tasty meals and and extensive bill of faire for all tastes. Excellent value for money
Best Portuguese restaurant in Joburg. The codfish was a bit dry, please work on that. Everything else is perfect!
Oh my goodness I just love this place, the food and the waiter was kind and on point we will defenetley be going back
We've been to Braseiro twice now. Great experience both times. It has the feel of your local cosy restaurant with great food and the owners personally coming to your table to ensure you are happy. Second time we went was for a birthday and they served the birthday boy a piece of cake that was fit for a king, along with a few glasses of port. Lovely restaurant, awesome experience.
The food and the service were excellent.
It is really difficult to find a proper Portuguese place and this one is definitely worth it.
If you want to experience traditional portuguese food in Johannesburg this is the place. The daily dishes are the best!
It was delishiously wonderful.vibrant and foodnexcellent with the best selection of desert we've seen in ages.just yummmmm
Good atmosphere. Prices over good value for the huge plate of food. I had the calamari and it was really good. For those who like crispy chips order the round chips. We also had the seafood rice which was very good. Chocolate mouse to die for not too sweet but so yummy. Will go back for sure.
Always good value for money and the dishes taste like my mother's. Great Portuguese restaurant. I have always experienced very good service too and if you choose one of the daily specials, you won't have to wait long for your food. Remember Sunday lunch is always very popular and you need to book a table to make sure you are catered for. The owners, Jorge and Fatima take huge pride in their restaurant and greet each table individually to ensure things are up to everyone's expectations. Traditional tripe and cozido are favourites and the chocolate mousse is also very good. Big thumbs up!
As a Portuguese Resturant you really get the feel of the culture and the dishes they serve.
The atmosphere is vibrant and excellent.
Genuine Portuguese cuisine in a lively setting. Excellent food, quick service. Try the roast goat for something different and tasty.
Love the delicious Portuguese cuisine & it's very central & convenient. We always go back!
