O Peri Peri Edenglen

We were looking forward to this because of all the great reviews. We had a very sweet waitress that checked in on us regularly enough to not be annoying but just the right amount. The hake was well cooked but had no seasoning, no flavour. The amount of lemon in the garlic butter over powered the garlic completely. We also had Robbie's weakness which was okay. I ordered the chicken hot and expected that delicious Portuguese punch, but unfortunately it lacked in flavour. The portions are very generous and the prices are good. But without the flavour, it's not a restaurant that would entice me to come back.

For some of the best Portugese quisine you cannot go wrong. Some of the best chicken dishes you can find on the East rand. Perfect for a sit down, great for a grab and go!

Best portuguese hpod ever. Owner was super friendly. Walked off with a bottle of their special peri peri sauce. Excellent.

Wow delicious food and the service was amazing. Ordering hot definitely lives up to it with the most amazing taste. One of my favorites on the eastrand.

Food not as nice as it use to be and they close at 8 30, we arrived just before that time and was told to order quickly as the kitchen was closing, never in my life have I seen a restaurant close so early and we felt bad as they started to pack the tables and chairs away and the waitresses where leaving to go home! We ordered Prawns and the Prawns where not tasting nice and hard to peel and to top it all still had the veins in them! The salad was awful big chunks of mushI Fetta and Lettuce was in big chunks! Really not the best meal! Very disappointed!

The chicken is superb regardless of how hot you order the spice. It's got that good vibe and friendly staff. It is great value for money. I have fed 4 people on 140 bucks already. That says a lot.

The customer service is brilliant and very hands on! And they have vegetarian options This place gets CRAZY busy, definitely a local hotspot. Portugese beer is delicious.

O Peri Peri sells one of the best prepared Portuguese styled chicken that I have ever tasted!
And if you are not into their chicken they have equally tasty variety on their menu!

Very good value, good food, unfortunately add things to dishes without telling you, either tell the customer or bring on the side.

This place has a nice, lively vibe. Very interactive staff as well as great pricing. Very well priced dishes. Service was efficient and well up to par.

O Peri Peri has awesome service and there's a really nice family-vibe. We go there for their famous chicken. Their half chicken and sides are to die for.

I love this restaurant. Peri Peri at it's best. True authentic Portuguese food at really reasonable prices. Must try the Sangria.

If you are one of those people that are looking for a hidden gem, then welcome, you've just found it! The food is fantastic, waiters are super efficient and the food is truly well priced. Try the signature chicken and chips - it is to die for! Officially my new favourite!

Food is very delicious, what more can I say if you like spicy food this is the place for you, you wont now how yummy it is until you try it.
