The waiting staff (1) and chef were very friendly, and the food is amazing.
But, the managers are not very friendly. Felt like we were an inconvenience being there. They closed the restaurant whilst we were there (3pm on a Thursday).
Ive been here a couple times and still they are top quality with their food and i will always go here if i ever want fish food

I have had the worst customer service from Ocean Basket. They had forgotten my drink that I ordered and my food was cold, even though my uber driver was late to collect, the food was cold to the touch. I had phoned to complain and the manager working didn't even apologize for my inconvenience. He made excuses that the uber driver was late, but should of at least keep the food warm. He then told me to come and get my drink even though they had forgotten to pack it. This manager was so rude to me, spoke over me, aruging with me the whole time and would not even offer me a solution, he just blamed the uber driver. For the price that i have paid to recieve this bad customer service, I will not be supporting albertons Ocean Basket as this is not the first time I have received bad service from them.
We normally eat out or order our sea food at the Mall of the South Ocean Basket and never experienced problems. On the 14th February we ordered food to be collected at Lemon Tree Ocean Basket. Firstly, when I got there it looked like nobody knew about my order. Secondly, even though the app informed me when I ordered that the food will be ready in 20 minutes I had to wait for another 30 minutes, making it almost an hour. Thirdly, when I got home the family realized that the food is dry, some prawns were burned and the salad especially cucumber didn't look fresh. The results of eating these were stomach cramps for me the next day while my wife had running stomach from early morning after having the meal. My plea is that we paid a lot of money and you need to prepare the food to be juicy and enjoyable, and not affect us badly after eating it. We even thought that maybe you don't prepare the take away like sit in but we'll do sit in next time to assess if the service will improve and if we won't have health issues like stomach cramps.
