Pretoria Boeremark reviews
39Wow! Loved the atmosphere and the different products at great prices that are available. Best 'moerkoffie' ever! Thanks girls for the great service
It is what it is, BUT. I noticed that the veggies and other goods are actually fresh and going for a competitive price. The chicken stall on the other hand are alright but the price they charge for some varieties are expensive. It will work out cheaper for me to go buy what ever they have and do it myself. Coffee are great and the smell of braai vleis so early in the morning is just wrong.:) It's defiantly getting my attention. The stall that sells fudge.i can put a payment on a house for what they charge per piece of fudge.
The olive stall. Keep it up, the olives are delirious. We will visit them again lets hope the prices are fair next time.
Love the vibe. Freezing cold at 6 in the winter, but the various coffee stalls and food keep you warm.
A good way to spend a Saturday morning. A wide variety of stalls. Food is good. So is the coffee:)
Get there before 6 AM. If you are not into large crowds and in a rush - this is not for you.
Great place for fresh produce, farm fresh meats, cheese, jams, you name it. A hot cup of coffee and warm brekkie from one of the stalls is a great way to start the day.
Relaxation for a weary soul. Go early to avoid disappointment and if you are early enough, you can see the sun rise. Best milk food and biltong. Note: the market is open from 5.30am to 9.30am every Saturday. The market is also pet friendly. There is something for every taste.
I absolutely love this market. The Pretoria Farmers market is open from 5: 30 to 09: 30 every Saturday morning. You have to go early to avoid disappointment and you might even see the sun rise. The best milk food and biltong. Buy fresh produce straight from the farm. There is something for everyone and your furbaby is welcome.
Great market, fresh produce. Every sat 05: 30- 09: 00. Now and again there is a night market. Great vibe, always busy. Could recommend so many stores- melkkos and the sauces at the same shop- delish. Stuffed pepperdews, pumpkin fritters, pancake's (pennekoek)
And meat stores- all really good haven't had a bad pack yet from any of them. An Indian food stall with the best atchar and Puni Puri. Live music. Toilets not terrible for public facilities, cleaners in and out all hours running water and toilet paper.
Pretoria Farmers Market is always a nice trip! Buy the week's vegetables and fruit, and enjoy a delicious coffee at the Deafinitely coffee stall!
If you find yourself in Pretoria at very early hours on a Saturday morning, I highly recommend making a stop at the Pretoria Boeremark.
It's a great place for families from all backgrounds to come to. There is something for everyone there. There's entertainment for kids such as a little zoo type enclosure and an electric go kart track (more for young children say 5-8 is my guess).
There's lots of different stalls selling items like food, clothing, homemade items and more.
You need to get a pancake and a cuppacino before you leave or else it's technically illegal to leave the premises without having done such
The event does start early around 6ish on a Saturday and by 10 is non existent more or less. Gives you something nice to do in the morning and still have the rest of your day to enjoy!
Reason I'm giving it 4/5 is only because some of the restroom facilities aren't always in the nicest state towards the end of the day and some of the restrooms do give off a smell to the nearby area.
I hate waking up early in the morning but for the Boeremark is worth it. There is aways something interesting to see, to taste, to eat, or to buy. The atmosphere is great, and I love that it's dog friendly. All in all it's a lovely outing for the family.
Nice market. Great variety of handmade goods, cheeses, biscuits, meats, fruit, lovely breakfast options. When buying fresh produce or meat, take time to inspect the product carefully, especially when frozen. Only other complaint is that I really wish that they won't pack up so early!
Great market experience with variety and good prices. One of the places to go to support your local community
Enjoyed every moment. Good food and produce on sale. Secure parking on site as well. Good family outing.
What an awesome vibe! Kids, dogs, friendly faces, delicious foods, a variety of interesting stalls, fresh and affordable produce! And best of all - you're supporting small business owners! Definitely worth making a stop!
Excellent products and produce on sale here. Very nice place to go to and just be relaxed. Products are also very affordable and useful. Will go here again.
A wide variety of vendors at one venue. Great deals and service, while there is a live band. Entrance is free, will definitely be back
Lovely market! Can get all your weekly shopping done! Favourites included moer koffie, pancakes and fresh fruit and veggies
Cute market with lots of delicious goodies! An awesome place to take your kids to loik as some of the farm animals while you enjoy a delicious cuppa!
