Rademeyers Restaurant reviews
47 Friendly service. Outdoor covered seating. Good selection of dishes at slightly higher prices. Food was tasty.
There are also function venues which we will keep in mind for future use.
Relaxing ambiance.good veiw in the city the Zebras are special interesting menu and good prices.
Process is really good nice to see when they are walking around you the staff is really nice and friendly
Nice outing - feels like you left the city behind. Not your normal menu, with "pap & kaiings", tripe and bonemarrow options. Hike options also close-by
Fantastic ambiance.
Indoor and outdoor seating.
Service on a Sunday afternoon is lacking though.
Good food at reasonable prices.
Worth a visit
Quaint, old house setting. Delicious food. Beautiful views from the balcony, overlooking some of the reserve.
It's a piece of history. Enjoyed a very nice breakfast. If you want to get away from the humdrum of the city this is good place to calm down.
We had an amazing breakfast after our hike at the Moreletta Kloof Hiking Trail.
The food was great, service was great, and sitting under the canopies outside makes for a whole "Different" atmosphere than just a normal breakfast.
Lovely place, food and people. Highly recommend it. If you have not been there it's a must to have on your to do list
A beautiful escape, hidden between bustling Pretoria East suburbs. We come here several times a month for a wonderful "pause" from the city madness. Consider enjoying the 4.6km hike before sitting outside under umbrellas or canopies, enjoying good coffee and great food with zebra, blesbok, springbok, impala, and ostrich often in view.
The service is 5 stars and the food of exceptional quality. They even serve traditional south african dishes such as Maize Balls and Kaiings & pap. They definitely go out of their way to ensure their customers are happy.
Lovely place and setting. I think it is ideal for group bookings. I enjoyed my Pap & Kaiings but my friend's dish - the special - Chilli con Carne nachos was a huge disappointment. We appreciated the good service from Milton. Bought delicious fudge and koeksisters from the Deli. We still want to attempt the walking trail. I think the dishes and drinks are a bit pricey. Not sure if we'll go back soon, but might try the walking trail.
Live music on a Sunday afternoon, sitting outside having a pizza and a bottle of wine.great afternoon!
Nice place and relaxing, but hygiene is a concern. Too many flies, whom were eating my food and drinking my beer. Hope they have arm security in their kitchen. But the disappointment is that the waiter did not offer to replace the beer.
Not the best. Food generally cold on arrival. Steak is more fat than meat. Chicken snitchel tough as nails. And it is expected that a 10% tip is given. Basically forced to do so although I wanted to give none. Overpriced and overrated.
Lizel and staff members are very friendly, their hospitality is heartwarming. There are so many animals to see. The place clean quiet beautiful and very classy. This place is perfect for events like weddings, bridal shower, baby showers etc. Even for walks it's great.
Dissapointed
My family and I were looking forward to visiting Rademeyers for the first time. We loved the idea of sitting outside surrounded by nature. Not very much to choose from on the menu, so we chose Chicken Snitchels and my son ordered a cheese burger. Worst meal we had ever had. Burger bun was so hard you could not cut it with a knife. Snitchels had no flavour not to mention the sauce. Not once did anyone ask if our meal was ok. We waited so long for the waiter to remove our plates that we stood up and went to go look for our bill. Maybe we should have just left without paying. The manager/owner saw us waiting but not once asked if he could assist. Spent R500.00 here and will never do so again.
Excellent service. Beautiful surroundings. Eating out in the gardens while zebra roam around is an absolute treat. A few vegan options on the menu would make this a regular visit for me.
Amazing vibe with the zebra's and ostriches walking around the tents and tables. The food is great here but the menu is a bit too small and doesn't have alot to choose from. Overall I would recommend this restaurant.
