Rasam Tandoori Indian Restaurant Benoni

It was our first visit with friends, our waiter was very friendly and polite. The food was prepared the traditional way as was to be expected of an Indian restaurant. The prices was in my view very reasonable, even cheap. Will recommend this "Gem" if you like curries and their Sunday buffet which is only R120, I am definitely going to do soon. It looked very popular for "take away" there was people collecting very often.

This used to be a good curry place to go, the food has always been good but the service has gone down quite some what. The last few times the orders we have placed have been incorrect. I do understand nothing is perfect but this has happened 3 out of 4 times. The staff look miserable. A smile fake or not goes a long way. We did give it a few more tries before giving a review, tonight was the last try. No one greeted us on entry. Sat down waited for some time, looked around no one came to serve or greet us. We stood up, walked out past Sultan and company still nothing.

Went for the mother's day buffet, was very disappointed. The chicken breyani had no chicken, beef in the curry was hard and dry.

Authentic Indian fare served to perfection with exceptional service from Sultan every time. Inexpensive date night!

Very professional and warm place to be. Mr Sultan is a superb and bubbly host. The food is devine. I am definately marking this spot as my new favourite and will recommend it.

Sultan is an absolutely amazing host and waiter (and he is pretty good at photography!) Thank you so much for making our night special, from lighting candles to using your magic to make the food the right amount of "hot"!

Went for my birthday, food, service and atmosphere is so exelent. Would definately recomend this place

R99 buffet on Fridays. Bunny chow second to none, butter chicken and samosas are tasty beyond compare
Service is friendly and efficient.

Went here now for the 4th time (this time for my birthday dinner).
Food was amazing, have tried a different meal every time and haven't been disappointed at all.lovely food. Even better service from Sultan the waiter we have always been served by. Will recommend to anyone wanting great Indian cuisine.

Excellent food and very good friendly service from the waiter and management. Something you don't seem to get from all the franchise restaurants any more. The buffet was excellent value for money.

I think under new management food is terrible the naan bread is like eating rubber. Total waste of money. Many other great Eastern restaurants in the Greater Benoni area.
