Great Italian food, friendly staff, and all-around culinary experience.
Every dish was presented beautifully. The chef added unique local flavors that worked surprisingly well.

I have only been here once and it was unforgettable! Thinking about visiting as I called them not to long ago to make an emergency booking and even though they didn't have any space they still tried to make a plan. Excellent service still exists.
Order with your heart! Best coffee milkshakes we've ever had. We ordered 3 dishes and portions were big. Pizza was a 4/5 but the calamari and pasta 5/5. No space for dessert. Everything fresh and high quality. Thank you so much!

Every visit is sheer delight. The owner and the team are a joy to experience, and (apart from our first visit) we've never asked to see the menu, ever. The specials of the day are so delectable and varied that it is all we've eaten in the dozens of times we've come here to eat. Pizza, pasta, starters, steak, dessert, nothing has ever disappointed or even just met expectations. An absolute highlight of the food scene in Joburg.

Food was excellent. There’s a lot of passion here…just what you expect from an Italian restaurant. Store could do with a refresh tho.

Lala and the La Trinita team should be incredibly proud of the experience they are providing their customers. You walk in and are immediately welcomed into the La Trinita family. Lala is extremely passionate about food and cooking and this passion shines through when she arrives at your table to explain the specials. All the food is absolutely phenomenal from the melanzane to the fillet. I am grateful to be part of the La Trinita family.

The food had zero flavour, just some salt would help. Everything was incredibly overpriced for what it turned out to be. The decor was updated like 40 something years ago. The chef does not think wearing a mask is necessary during covid. Could have made a pasta at home for 50 bucks that would have tasted 100 times better.

Absolutely zero covid protocols followed, no masks worn even by kitchen staff and waiters. Food was average at best.

I stumbled on La Trinita whilst waiting for my car to be washed at the popular Mo's Car Wash just next door and WOW have I been truly impressed!

From the moment I walked in I felt like family, John remembered me by name and took the time to make sure I was 100% comfortable.then a bubbly, beautiful soul named Lala sat down beside me to take me through their specialities. By this time I had already set my eyes on the most amazing lasagne I had ever seen and had to have it!

La Trinita is an absolute hidden gem! The food is simply incredible, a taste adventure and customer service like you've never experienced it before in this country!

5 star food in an unapologetically authentic restaurant.
You will experience a flavour explosion.
Every dish will have you chewing at 1/4 speed because the flavours are too wonderful to let the moment go by too quickly.
The steak is mouthwateringly better than any grill house.

And the owner is a bundle of passion and joy that is hard to forget.

This is one of the best Italian restaurants in the world. My husband and I used to go here frequently before we moved from SA almost 3 years ago. We STILL talk about the Melenzane as one of our all time favorite meals! We will definitely be back when we come back to visit!

An absolute gem in Midrand! Food was extremely delicious with an abundant amount of flavours all in a perfect balance. The lasagne and Penne pastas are incredible!

The owner is phenomenal. She takes her time, sits down and goes through the menu with you and is incredibly hospitable, even said goodbye to us over the balcony. Would 100% recommend Ristorante La Trinita to anyone looking to experience one of the best dining experiences ever.

Nothing good about this place, not child friendly not owner friendly, not a place I would recommend. Definitely not fine dining as well, although expected of you to be extremely quite.
