RocoMamas Canterbury Crossing

My update - Tuesday, 25 April 2023: Thank you so much Patrick - Manager/Supervisor at RocoMamas for coming back to me and checking up on me and my daughter and for resolving this matter urgently. Am happy to say your customer care skills are tops and solving the way you solved this matter. I'm happy to say I will be a regular as i love RocoMamas

I bought on Sunday, 23 April 2023 just after 1: 30, as i came back from Church, I bought 2 double burgers with chips which were on special for R99.00 each, we ate and until at night where it was time for bed and by the way that was the only thing we ate yesterday and the stomach started to run and like something is cutting through the most terrible pain, we could not sleep, running up and down to the toilet and even today i cannot eat anything without feeling pain, I phoned today and spoke to some lady and am still waiting for a call back as promised and its almost end of the day, am not sure i will ever go back there again.

03/02/2023; Update: Pat and the team reached out to me to address the below. I'm happy once more, normality has been restored. The friendly smiles I'm used to, are back and I had a lovely meal. Thanks team, see you next week.

I had really bad service today, which is unusual at this branch. I was welcomed warmly as per usual. Things went downhill when I went back to collect my order. My burger was dry and burnt, so were half the fries. I also had to mill around the entrance without being attended to for a while even though the place was not busy at all. Very disappointing considering how far I drove for this meal.

Such lovely people at this Rocomamas food was great and the atmosphere was lovely too. Awesome community vibe on a Friday night

It was great service and the food was prepared amazingly. I would recommend going to Roccomama’s at Canterbury.

Food arrived cold and it didn't taste fresh its like burger that was made in the morning and only delivered at night

Jimmy is always Bubbly and friendly, always gives us great service, Food also Fresh and delicious

Food arrived ice cold after an hour of ordering (I live 5 minutes away). So much salt on the fries that it’s inedible.
Stale buns.

Had a great experience and the food was delicious. Lerato is a great waitress and an amazing person. Fantastic and bubbly personality.

Service was top notch By Jimmy, from coming In, the food was delicious done well and well cooked and I enjoyed every minute of it I will definitely come back again.

Keep it up.

Poor service and waiter was extremely rude after the order was incorrect. She then went on to debate the fact that she had made a mistake.

Thurs 22 Sept 2022 - I took a friend for lunch but sadly the burger patties were very small, dry, overcooked and tasteless. Such a waste of money Rocomamas have slipped badly.

Great customer service. Maybe turn the music down so people don't have to shout to talk

The strips were brilliant - problem is the sweat chilly tubs were not closed properly.so we received a mess of unimaginable proportions. Eywh big mess!

Had burgers, chips, feta bombs, milkshakes and waffles. Everything was great and tasty! Inside is pretty noisy so if it is warm enough I prefer to sit outside. Also the chairs were sticky - so someone needs to spend a little time wiping them. Otherwise service was good and food was good. I recommend the normal chips over the cheesey chips. This is because Roccomamas (as a franchise) has changed their cheese for their cheesy chips and this new cheese is just underwhelming (and considerably worse).

In the past, always great but today showing signs of failure - ordered my food and had a drink whilst waiting, after 20 minutes I had finished my drink I went in to ask where my simple order was, it was on the counter and had obviously been there for 10 minutes or so but the server insisted that it had just come from the kitchen. Lies, she was too idle to come out side and let me know my order was ready: - (good luck guys - you'll be closed within a month a bet you!

Absolutely loved the little lady who took our take out order. She was happy, charming and helpful. We just ordered fries because I am recovering from a bad head cold and she was quick efficient and we didn't wait longer than 5 minutes. Thank you

Needing a snack on our way home today we popped in to RocoMamas Canterbury Crossing. What a win! I didn't get the two staff members who served me's names (my bad!), but they were Fantastic! Excellent service! Quick, efficient and friendly. And we collected the BEST feta bombs I have had for some time!

A noticeable amount of Flies were gathering here for some reason which makes one wonder. Music was also not what Rocomamas was. Seems like they are losing their authenticity: - (Food was still good tho!

Stail bun, mediocre food, burger was tiny. Paid Alot for nothing. Rather go to Nando's 1 minute walk away.
