Arts Organization SAMRO reviews
23A great experience the service is wonderful. If you a up coming artist and you would like to register your songs I would recommend Smaro
The service was average. They took awhile to assist me but when they did it was quick. Clean place.
- Samro is always efficient and fast with regards to service and assisting any and everyone that walks in either to enquire or to apply.and now they have an online portal for all registrations
Seriously a joke.
I am a tour guide in the inner city and have been sent several emails about music played at my events.what events.
NO I Do NOT DRAG A MOBILE SOUND SYSTEM PLAYING MUSIC AS I WALK THROUGH THE STREETS OF JOHANNESBURG
The young lady who was helping me was seriously engaged in a covisation with 1 of the cleaners in such a way that it was very hard for her to give me a proper help. I went there to make notification, she pointed me to the wall and told me to follow what was written there. I told her that I tried to do notification online but it's difficult for me, but she didn't give a dam thing about that.
May I ask about Call Center Vacancies, that does a person go through an interview & get a job if passed the interview or a person goes through learning and pay money?
Going there felt like total waste of time because they lack explaining things well over their phone service, if they explained well what I was visiting the place for I wouldn't have went there.
SAMRO on it's own is a beautiful, warm and friendly place. However one of the companies there that I went to was a scam. They asked for R950 before placement (red flag)
I've been trying for 3 years to obtain membership. I finally got a relation number a month ago.but i can't log onto the portal to register my songs. I try sending emails, no help, they tell me to wait. I phone them and all their numbers go to voicemail "this inbox cant accept more messages, Goodbye". I want to release music, Samro is the only block in my road.
Music rights organization for artist. You will always hear much more details about your music as an artist here
Very polite, and willing to interact but still provided the service effectively and efficiently
Is anyone available? Is someone working at SAMRO? It's looking very bad there. No help. No assistance. Why?
I thought I will find no parking, only to find there was plenty. Security very nice and even inside we got the information we required
I submitted my application online and seven days has passed still i haven't received my membership code
Security officials asking money to submit ur docs. Apparently it's R150 and everything gets sorted out fast.
Reason I rated 1star it's because they don't respond to my emails and when I call them they delaying giving me help. I'm now waisted maybe R100 airtime on them but not getting any results
13 weeks later and still no Samro number or portal. Very disappointed as this is my main source of income and has me relying on getting paid in foreign currencies where registering music is far easier. Samro this is a source of income for many, please act accordingly.
Rude consultants, however I can see SAMRO cares about good service and apologized. So I bumped it up to 3 stars.
I sent them documents they said they would get back to me in one month and it's past that date so waiting for registration to agree to the rights reserved privacy terms of the agreement sent.
