Bad Birthday Expirience ever
Food was an extreme dissapointment the meat tasted the same i ordered the warrior combo chicken, ribs, lamb chops and wors everything tasted the same. I only managed to finish chips the rest was a takeaway cause my sisters fish was mushy with sauce all over the plate. Nqobile our waitress was amazing but food was a total waste R1800 spent and down to the drain. Spur you'll never see me. I dont recommend any dish for anyone

The best Spur I have been to so far, Staff is friendly making jokes and serves with a smile. The Covid Regulations is above and beyond. Cousin the Manager makes you feel at home. Thumbs up to this Spur

The service is greatest.off the hook.took my daughter out. We ate nice burger and ribs and she enjoyed their play ground.

Great for family get togethers. A good old timer. I remember going the spur at my daughter's age (6) Spur is always a winner

Great warm vibe there. Food is good. Fillet steak is the best and so is the calamari. Friendly atmosphere great for kids service great. Will be back again

The toilets just make everything horrible. Then they say it's the customers fault (angry face). CLEAN YOUR TOILETS AND STOP MAKING EXCUSES!

Good service you feel welcomed as customer as soon as you enter being approached by the waiters, the place is very clean and the food is mouthwatering excellent!

So my family and I went to Spur lunch today (11 November) the service was good but the food. Oh my word it was so bad. I ordered a calamari starter and the calamari rings were rubbery, the onion rings soggy and the portions were small.

The manager tried resolving the issue by getting us another batch of calamari but it was still the same.

I have never tasted food that was that bad at any Spur I've been to. It was a waste of money so disappointing.

Worst experience ever
on the 26th of September 2018 I went to spur for breakfast in lakeside mall.
Want to start off by saying my waiter was amazing.

1. My waiter sat me down at a table I remember it was just before 9am I ordered my coffee didn't take long as I was really happy with that.
What I was not happy about is how do you clean a restaurant at 9 am in the morning when you have customers already sitting down?
I was a restaurant manager I know you arrive clean a restaurant before its time to open that is what pissed me off.

2. I was there at least an hour and a half to 2 hours can't really remember but what I noticed is not a single manager came to see if everything is alright and how was the food even if it was only once I would of been happy ending there was 2 managers on duty that I had seen.

3. Was time to pay for my bill and I had just gone to the toilet quickly as I walked in I had seen that the toilets were not clean properly and that the floor in the cubical had toilet paper behind the door from the day before how I know is that the floor was not clean.

4. When I went to pay for my bill I had given my spur card and 50 rand note to pay my bill and after a while a manager came to me and said head office said that there was no voucher on the card which I told them it was a lie as I was at that same spur the Saturday or Sunday before and the hostess and the one manager confirmed that I had a voucher, so I paid the amount that needed to be paid.

Lastly I would like to say I'm so disappointed in spur they have changed over the years and I will never be back again.

The service is excellent, the waiters are very attentive, although I was kinda disappointed when they sang their birthday song for my grandson, it was a half hearted attempt, we were all looking forward to them singing as we know he would have loved it. I love the restaurant chain, it never disappoints.

Spacious restaurant with reasonable pricing. It has a playpen for children and is a great place for a family outing.

Abundant parking and just at the entrance of Benoni town.

Always the best restaurant to go to whenever I'm in or around the Lakeside Mall. It's so great.

Always good to be here, just didn't enjoy my baffalo wings this time, felt like I was eating biltong, very dry.
