Schäffler's Nursery has such a relaxing and peaceful atmosphere that makes you feel like you are on holiday. The nursery has a great variety and is well looked after.

The restaurant has a decent menu, serves good coffee and had a quiet hidden outdoor area.

Second hand books, ornaments, and other decorative items are available for purchase as well.

I've always enjoyed this venue. The food is good, the service is usually sufficient and the atmosphere is relaxed. Breakfast ends too early. I tried the French toast today and it was two slices with one banana and a little bit of bacon for R88. It was way too little value for way too much cost. The small breakfast is more food for half the price.

R76 MOJITO which was ice, mint leaves and not much else. My pizza had raw, hard pear on.so that ruined it sadly. Chicken pie was freezing cold, so was the plate it was served on. Toasted sarmies and tramezzinis were below average, but the chips were delicious! Service was average and some staff slightly aggressive in their attitude - I always believe that if management are angry and treat staff badly that it results in waitrons having the same angry vibe.so, make of that what you will. Our waitron was a honey though. The nursery is beautiful but overall, prefer spending hard-earned money in a place where you feel welcome.

I attended a Funeral/Memorial Talk. Lovely chilled place. I like the smell of flowers, the brownies, coffee and pizza. Was just thinking of Parking.there seems not to be enough if one would think of using the venue for some event.

Still a really great place to spend a morning Breakfast was really good with friendly staff and good service.

I had an amazing time at the restaurant with my family.

We sat outside as it was extremely hot. The atmosphere was welcoming and beautiful.

The service at the restaurant, was excellent. Our waiter, LT, was simply amazing. He was friendly and efficient and checked up on us regularly without being overbearing.

I do not give good reviews if I am unhappy. My experience yesterday was awesome hence my good review. I will definitely be back again

This is a hidden gem. I fell in love with this place the first time. The nursery transforms the landscape, the antiques gives it origin, the books gives it a heart, the restaurants gives it a home. This is indeed a small haven. The staff is helpful.

Nursery, gift shop, bookshop and the cafe.
Food is very delicious and served very hot.
Servers are very helpful.
Garden is a bit smaller then the photos but nice.
Place is more for over 60's age group:)

Schäffler’s I will recommend 100% the most amazing Nursery out there. Under the trees is the worst place I have ever come across in my life. We have gone there several times and the service just gets worse and worse. However today was the cherry on the cake. Today I was met with the most disgusting customer service filled with utter arrogance.

We made a booking for 4 at 12: 00 on their outside smoking deck. They took it down as inside, so made a plan by shoving us at a table that a person would have had to sat on a corner in order to sit at the table.

I then went to the manager (co-owner) Vincent to speak to him. First asking if his reputation is important to him. And my word was the reaction less than customer service. Asking me directly “Why do you keep coming back? ” Then upon offering to settle my bill so that we could leave telling me “I won’t take your money” a whole R32.

Understand something sir. Your name is connected to the wonderful nursery which has a brilliant reputation, don’t ruin that. Understand that your best form of marketing is word of mouth that can make or break your business. I suggest you either take a serious look at how you handle customer service or put someone in charge that will.

The food here is perfectly made! I absolutely enjoy every meal I order each time I go there. And thr service is top tier!

I've been here twice and both times was lovely would recommend especially on Sundays when you're looking for a quiet place to relax.

My God. I loved this place, everything about it. Food, prices, waiters, outdoor area, even started falling in-love with the actual tress themselves lol.

A lovely sunny afternoon spot with quick and polite service. Took Mom and her friend (both in their 80s) for afternoon tea and cheesecake. Leroy (11) loved the parrot and koi fish. The nursery is well stocked and still one of the best

Lovely tea garden that's warm and cosy on cold days. I enjoy their bacon and banana waffle - it's delicious (don't judge until you've tried it). There is also a small second hand book and antiques shop

Such a wonderful experience Super friendly and accommodating staff. The plants are just a massive plus.

Have not been there for a couple of years. Revamped the whole restaurant. It looks lovely and spacious. They even have a venue hall.
Food and service still good. Freshly prepared. Aside from the burgers, the lunch menu would be nice with a red meat addition. Maybe a steak or lamb kebabs.

I've been to Schaffler's Nursery & Under the Trees on two occasions once with a client and once with a friend and found the food and drinks magnificent and the atmosphere rustic and charming

Best chicken mayo I've had in forever! Also, best pizza, best location, and best staff. Highly recommend this spot

My favourite restaurant for AMAZING breakfast & lunch! I love the tranquil environment of the nursery, with doggos roaming around visiting you at your table. We chose the calamari, chips & salad, homemade chicken pie with salad & baked potato with cream cheese, avo & an extremely generous portion of salmon (my mouth is watering as I type️). The service was exceptional, smiles all round! As always I had to try their cappuccino & I was very satisfied. If you are looking for a place to enjoy with your loved ones, this is the place to go!
