Sharjah Indian restaurant reviews
17Food is delicious but customer service is horrible. I said hello to the lady she looked me funny after this I asked her something about the menu and she gave a rude answer like she did not want to take my order. When I placed my order she did not even ask what spice level the food must be and just gave me card machine to pay with when I paid cash she looked at me rudely and left the till the other server needed to give my change
This is one of the best places I've ever had Indian food! The butter chicken and naan bread is so good!
What an absolute gem. 2nd takeaway this month. They have not disappointed. This is without a doubt my goto Indian Arabic takeout. Well done
I haven't tested the food yet but just on staffs behavior I would rate even ZERO. 2 LADIES who were on counter has tired attitude and doesn't have respect for clients. I placed take away order for weekend special and chips, after little while I went to check if my order was ready coz there were few bags on the counter, the 2 ladies literally made fun of me. And said your order hasn't even started to prepare.
Love these place, keep on visiting. The food is awesome much better then some of the established brands on the market. The taste is consistent, having visiting for the last 12 years.
I ordered Chicken Biryani off Mr Delivery and got a bowl of soup. This happened just now at 16: 42pm.
The best roti wraps I have ever. The lady also recommended their samosas which were outstanding. I'm definitely making a turn there whenever I'm close by.
The best Indian food in Johannesburg.
You really must try the Lamb Curry, the Lamb Bunny Chow, the Lamb Roganjosh, the Lamb Chops, the Chicken Noodles, and the Bean Bunny Chow.
They are truly mouthwatering!
I'll be trying the Butter Chicken, and the Bombay Chicken soon; as they are reputed to also be amazing dishes.
Food is well priced too.
What I love about this restaurant; is the food is CONSISTENTLY excellent!
Obviously; HALAAL too.
You will NOT be disappointed!
This place was recommended to us by a family member who said its the best Butter chicken he had. I have to agree. Everything we had from Sharjah has been delicious.
This place has amazing indian food and the best thing I like here is the butter chicken.
This place is also clean and tidy.
You will love it.
The take aways have always been consistent! We've had the tandoori chicken and chips, added butter naan to that, divine! The chicken breyani is a favourite, always flavourful. We tried the the butter chicken and dhal makhni tonight. It was so divine with the steaming hot rice!
Good food. Pricy on some items. Would appreciate this place being in a Dine-in setting or environment as opposed to just take away.
Delicious food, mild, medium or, great service, clean, good sized portions and well priced. Lunch specials are brilliant. I drive the extra couple of kms to eat there
The food was very bland. I ordered from Uber eats. The biryani and chicken curry. The biryani basically only had rice with 2 small pieces of chicken. The curry was tasteless.
Best Indian food in South Africa. Not Durban curry. Best description I can think of is curry I've had in the UK.
First and last order:
- Chicken samoosas: oily and tasteless
- Chicken vindaloo: smelt like fish when opening / sauce was an average attempt, not hot at all for a vindaloo / just normal chicken fillets chucked in, not from a tandoori / 2.5 cubes of potatoe
- Butter naan: the only reason it got a 2 star and not a 1
