9I have known shoprite Gezina since 2007 due to my employment closer to them, i don't even remember being a below par service from all those beautiful ladies. They define the word "service " in a unique and excellent way keep up the good work guys. One more thing they are affordable.
There are 6 Express tills but only 1 person to help in the afternoons when it is busy. Sometimes there are 20 customers in this row. I have complained at the manager but he has done absolutely nothing.
The shop is clean but old. The product range and floor space is large and prices are good. My staff frequently visit this shop to buy frozen chicken and vegetables because the prices are so affordable. Staff at the hot meals counter is unfriendly, and all staff serving customers are slow. The slowness if staff reminds me of the Zootopia movie.
With the new owners the shop has received a much needed makeover. The shop is clean and fresh goods are available. The Bakery has lots of beautiful cakes and they are a good price. The meat is also fresh and cheaper than other competive stores.
Don't recommend this store. Absolutely useless pathetic service and very filthy. It's a no from me!
On Freedom day closed as on Sundays at 2 not 5 as advertised! Even Tops at Spar is still open:)!

This place went downhill! Think there might be new Management cause it was NEVER like this!
Never buy meat there as one buy of chicken there, the chicken was off/rotten. Since then there has always been a foul odour at the meat section. Standards of the shop is disappointing!
