Definitely becoming the worst Spar around, insane prices overnight, is the owner planning on retiring early? Just one example in the pictures below where the Special at Spar is way more expensive than the normal selling price at Checkers, that's just one item, we noticed many more "specials" costing more than the regular selling price anywhere else. We just walked out leaving what we went for. I find it insulting that they think we are that stupid to never notice. #commonscam

Very bad shopping experience recently. Encounter embarrassment with Spar employee towards elderly and disable person with a walker device.

Always good service. Fresh produce. Lots of parking. Quick service at the tills. All and all a pleasure to shop there.

If there is one thing I am always upset about in a grocery store, it is having to wait in a queue to pay. Especially in peak hours and in Covid. (And I am talking about 20 or more people in a queue and only 3 cashiers. Unacceptable! Rietfontein Spar.

Massive store thats always kept immaculately clean and pleasant. The kitchen prepares very nice ready to eat meals; and their vegetables are fresh.

This spar has great hot meal, bakery and salad bar options. There boerewors is always a winner and it is a convenient stop if one lives or works in the area.

Stock is inconsistent and merchandisers don't really seem to care as a lot of shelf items have no price tags. Also, have often bought produce that was off. Eggs, milk, meat and even kiwi fruit.

Some items don't have prices and there's not a variety to choose from. The staff is very friendly and so is the owner.

Popped in to get a couple of things. Total rip off! Ice R19.99 at other Spar shops R12.99 for the same brand same packaging. Carrots R12.99 but R20 for 4 bags. At other Spar R5 per bag. Cucumbers R12.99 at other Spar shops R5. Just to name a few things. I just walked out. Will never shop there again. Sad to see how people are being ripped off as a lot of commuters use the shop before getting on the train.

Very nice spar. Their bakery is very good. Their butcher should receive a special mention. I have never bought a tough or bad cut of meat there.

I stopped by on Rugby World Cup day, half an hour before the game started, and the line at the tellers was insane. I settled myself in for a good wait. However, I found myself at the front of the line in less than 5 minutes. Even though not all the tills were manned, the tellers were amazing! Well done guys! I'm so impressed with your service!

Standard Spar that stocks average items. The queues can get very bad! The meat section is riddled with flies.

The management is poor! There is never stock when needed. Could not even get an ordinary thing like shoulder ham from their deli. Red bull cans always out of stock! This is bad management and unacceptable.

Convenient, it carters for some of us who shop last minute, it opens longer hours when all other supermarkets are closed.

A relatively small shopping centre in a quiet neighborhood with small shopping centres and nice eateries around. Worth visiting if you don't wanna go to a huge mall or just wanna buy something small
