We have had a number if functions at this place over the years. We recently had a memorial and was again overwhelmed with the understated professionalism of this business. The venue and facilities where perfect, the flower arrangement amazing and the food was excellent. The service was overwhelming. It is not often that you find service which comes from the staff's innate good character complimented with excellent training.

Decor is becoming a little kitch and the dress code a lot more laks but it does not take away from the setting and food.

Stunning venue, beautiful gardens. Waiters need to be spoken to though. They act like they are doing clients a favour.

Wow! We had our dad's 70th birthday celebration here. The food is scrumptious, a wide variety of dishes to serve every taste and desire. The gardens are exceptionally beautiful. I would recommend this venue for any celebration, big or small!

The place has a lot of parking space.nice grass and fountains. But could have been a lot more better if airtime was sold there. Hahaha

Never had a bad meal here. Had year - end lunch here for the past 6 years always a nice selection. PS. Don't forget to leave space for the Tipsy tart.

Wow! The most beautiful venue in the east rand nicely hidden! The food is out of this world and alcohol is next to nothing! The staff are a joy, parking galore! Really enjoyed the weekend buffet!

From the manicured gardens to the well appointed conference halls, this is the venue for any party, business or wedding function! There is ample parking, a chapel, kitchens and well stocked bars. The big bonus is that it is in town and no long drives into the countryside are necessary!

Almost Perfect. 4.8.
The missing 0.2 is for not having cold (ice) water readily available while guests wait for the bride and groom to finish with their photo session. This is before commencing with the reception. (These summer temperatures require a glass of water to cool down, before digging into the tasty light bites beautifully prepared for guests. Nothing fancy, just jugs of water with ice or those big water dispensers prepared earlier.)

The little steps here and there are rather dangerous for the elderly. My husband fell when he didn't see the step.

Beautiful setting, great outdoor area for photos. Plenty of space inside for parties/functions. Clean, neat, professional, upmarket venue.

Fantastic food. A variety of dishes to choose from and enjoy. A great venue to have and year functions or just a family eat out.

Only thing that is lacking is some sort of entertainment for children. Food is excellent as always, waiters amazing. Venue could do with a decor update overall.

Had the Christmas lunch buffet at Summer Place on 30 Nov. Food was delicious and the drinks service prompt and friendly. The starters were my favourite, and the lamb curry was delectable. Dessert buffet excellent. Coffee was piping hot. Lovely live music. Highly recommended.
