SUPERSPAR Broadacres

One of the best if not the best Spar in the Northern suburbs, very clean with a huge variety including imported treats and delicacies. Great bakery, wine selection, prepared food and butchery. Always enjoy popping in when I'm in the area to see what's on hand.

This is the best groceries and food store in Johannesburg! All the usual groceries, plus special imported extras. The cooked food is great and there is an onsite restaurant that serves the delicious cooked food, pastries and cake from the same kitchen.

A clean and orderly store that has friendly staff to assist. The bakery, butcher and fridges are always neat, clean and tidy. The bakery goods are delicious and always fresh

Large variety of imported goods love the sweets from Germany.

Simply the best SPAR you will find in South Africa. The food section is superb with the bakery providing a variety of temptations. The store is well managed and checking out a breeze. The parking area compliments the experience even further.

If you want the best seevice you have to pop into this Spar! They also have the best variety of products and my personal favorite, the best croissants!

It's a good shopping experience but a BIG TURN OFF was when I was told at the bakery that they DO NOT BAKE EGGLESS or VEGAN FOODS.

Poor service from the accounts payment tills.audrey was so rude and i even told her not to speak to customers rudely like that.just asked her a simple question why do you guys not take cards for payment anymore she gave me the embarassment of my life.she treated me like trash.and even further went to say i should go report her to zanele.meaning she didnt care at all.and this is not the first time i have had an encounter with.she shouldnt be at the till point at all.

Never any fresh produce. Mould, dry, limp. Always and without fail.
Huge, wide range. Layout is quite different but really great selection and clean.
Also, terrible at paying their contractors. These kinds of businesses should not get your full support. How else does a community stand together.

Superstar Broadacres is always amazing especislly with its bakery. Pity they stipulated that all the croissants had to be made there and sent to Ferndale when the baker at Ferndsle Spar was actually much better at it. Stopped buying them since then!

Not happy. Service at the till very bad. Teller talking stories with a fellow staff while customers are waiting.

I was most impressed with the processes and adherence to the regulations during the lockdown period. In general Mike and his team are always on top of their game. Well stocked. Neat and tidy. Assortment of items. Edison is always friendly and willing to assist his customers.

They make their own lasagna, and its honestly the best lasagna I've ever had in my life! Lots of imported cereals, chocolate and sweets

Well done Super Spar Broadacres for spending so much time and resources to train your staff and doing all the required sanitization, social distancing, and wearing of masks to keep your staff and your customers safe. EVERY RETAILER operating at the moment can follow your example. Well done!

Loads of people begging while you stand in the queue, Spar should really do more for our safety. There have been loads of pickpocketing

I bough honey at Spar Broadacres and that honey was crystallized half the jar.l buy my honey there always however they were out of the brand l buy when l returned it the supervisor insisted that l do not know what am talking about and that l should put in warm water which l had done back at home and yet wasnt "decrystalizing" so l left the jar with them and walked away.
My 2and bad encounter is that if you are not careful their pay till top up items amount it's happened 2s when l noticed that's when they corrected it now tell me how many times has someone bought items there and wasnt keen on looking at the receipt that they have been overcharged?

A lovely Spar. Freindly staff and a lot of reasonably priced items. Some of their plants are cheeper than the nursery in the same complex.

Best Spar in the country. We were craving a Sunday roast and they had everything there in their buffet section. Awesome

This is BEST SHOP IN JHB! Super food, always fresh and totally the best in the country. Great sales, awesome choice and excellent atmosphere.
