I came here while visiting Pretoria and I’m so glad I visited. This is a great place for anyone looking for something different to the chain restaurants. The food was great, cheap, the service was fast and the curb side pick up was a cool touch. I chatted briefly with the Mexican owner and he was a wonderful and friendly man and obviously with a talent for making delicious food. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting or any locals looking to try something new.

I ordered from TaRico on Uber Eats. I had to throw the food away.
The "cheesy nachos" didnt have any cheese. Just some weird beige sauce thing. Instead of salsa, I got tomato sauce. The type of runny tomato sauce you get with your boerie roll at the rugby.
The guacamole was so thin I didnt need to scoop it out, it ran out faster than the tomato sauce.
DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM. Rather eat 4 days old McDonalds, it will taste better.

TaRico is the worst food Ive had in SA so far and I’ve been here for 3 years

, 2 sad&soggy “hard shelled” lettuce filled tacos with no signs of Greek yogurt or any other veg for R85 thrown in plastic container in a way you’d serve food to a farm animal. I’d be embarrassed To charge people for that. Or call myself “a restaurant”. And the delivery was late, cause I guess, it takes so long to “cook” food that terrible

They have the BEST burritos in town, so delicious. You also get free churros when you call and collect.

Best Mexican food in the east, hands down. Impeccable prices, hard to imagine anyone can beat them.

Not long after lockdown myself and two others drove to tarico to eat lunch.we were surprised as to how the venue looked however it was a unique experience that I would love to have again. The food could have had some more flavor and spices However I did enjoy my meal, my favorite part was the churros a MUST HAVE!

TaRico has the best authentic Mexican food I've found in Pretoria. We always get something after a hike in the neighboring Morelettakloof Nature Reserve.

I found this place by chance, was craving Mexican food and this seemed like the most authentic place in the neighborhood. You will not be disappointed if you order with them. I had the chicken nachos and veggie quesadillas, both dishes were absolutely sublime. They're also running a special where you get a free portion of churros with your order! Will definitely order from them again. Muy deliciosa!

We had the beef burrito and chicken nachos. Delicious and authentic food. The owner is a great host amd we had a lovely time. Great for small, private functions. Very clean and neat.

I would definitely recommend TaRico to anyone.

For my partner's birthday, TaRico went out of their way to organise the most romantic room only for us two in the most beautiful Mexican style.

They served us the most delicious multi-course meals and to top it all off, a delicacy of churros for dessert.

The music fits the theme perfectly and they played us a requested song from Vaya Con Dios.

If you really wish to experience the full spectrum of Mexican cuisine, then TaRico is the place to go.

We decided to try out TaRico for my son's birthday. We were curious and tried out several of the dishes by sharing so that we could taste all the great options. The food was great and the service excellent. Edgar and Magdalena really did their best to see to our every need. We will be trying their frozen burritos at home as well. Found TaRico by chance, and will definitely be ordering from them again! Edgar was so friendly and so accommodating. He really puts the 'personal' in 'personal touch'. The food was absolutely delicious, and it felt so much healthier and fresher than other Mexican restaurants. The prices are unbelievable for the quality of food that you are receiving!

Fantastic Mexican food! We’ve tried every Mexican restaurant in Pretoria and this is the best. Edgar is an amazing chef. The burritos are huge and stuffed with fresh, authentic ingredients. His homemade churros with dolce de leche sauce are also excellent. Highly, highly recommend.

Had a delightful culinary experience in Edgar's restaurant. The nachos were fresh and scrumptious and the churros absolutely wonderful! I will most definitely support them in future!

Food is absolutely delicious. Had the veg burrito and hubby had beef. Both out of this world. Fantastic customer service too.
