The Classic India Restaurant Bedfordview reviews
21 Two hour wait time for an uber delivery
No apologies no concern no assistance from the resturant
Terrible salty lamb curry, the worse tasting curry I've ever had. We used to eat here all the time, not sure what changed but that's certainly not curry. I will certainly not eat from here again.
Amazing food and staff. Always help with a recommendation that has never failed to amaze me. You are able to watch the chef cook in a traditional tandoori oven. I’m a local to this restaurant and will be for a very long time
The food never disappoints. Real value for money and great service. Portion sizes are generous and range of choice will suit anyone. If you are a newby to North Indian foods, try the Butter Chicken. If you love a spicy burn, Jalfrezi or Vindaloo is your choice. But as you can see by our photo we couldn't decide. Indo Chinese and Vegetarian options available
I was in the mood for samosas and now I don’t think I like them anymore. The main meal was oil. The menu should say oil with a side of samosas
I ordered over WhatsApp and was sent a picture of the menue.
They definitely went the extra mile.
Thank you so very much for all your kind attention.
I'd like to Congratulate the staff at Classic India in Bedfordview for their excellent service. Everything was awesome.
I will definitely recommend your Restaurant
Awesome dinner and great service from Andile. Great curry and well priced too. Will definitely be back again soon.
DO NOT ORDER THEIR BRIANI IT TASTES TERRIBLE. I WASTED MY MONEY. I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHAT TO POINT OUT. IT IS TERRIBLE. DO THESE PEOPLE TASTE THIER FOOD BEFORE SELLING? I LOVE INDIAN FOOD BUT THIS IS TERRIBLE
Had the worst Indian food of my life last night! The restaurant was empty that should have been the 1st sign that this was going to be a bad experience.but I thought I might give it a try and maybe it was just quiet seening that it was the beginning of January. Second red flag was the bathroom, it was dirty with pee on the toilet seat and what i hoped was water all over the floor.
However we ordered starters one starter suppose to be chicken samosas.but I cannot tell you what samosas we got.because it was sure as hell not chicken and also had funny green spots on it, smelt like it was dug out of the dumpster. The sauce that was suppose to come with the starters came after we pushed the starters aside. Mains came and it was really not what we expected.the chicken curry was tough and tasted like metal.like it was made in a old rusty pot, my fiancé had one bite and push it aside. I had a lamb bunny chow which was more sauce than any meat.the bread was soggy and also had a weird taste to it. We asked for a take away went home and the food went straight to the dustbin. I love Indian food and know what it's supposed to taste like and this was surely not traditional Indian food. Waist of money. Very disappointed.
What a great dinner experience, good food, service and great value for money. Will definitely recommend for a great curry experience
Ordered 2 dishes and open the bag to find the delivery guy had pressed the one dish so hard sauce and chicken was pressed out of the container and into the old spar packet. So 1/3rd the dish is in a spar packet.
I asked for my money back and an hour later they still haven’t honoured it. I called 4 times asking when it would come back. They refused to give me a time. So I went there. The manager/owner happily sitting there having a laugh at the entrance making me wait at home for them.
Really relaxed vibe. A mix of indoor and outdoor tables. Conveniently located with ample parking. The quality of the food is excellent and it's good value for money.
We had a fantastic time. The food was delicious and our waiter Isaac was very friendly and made us feel like family.
The food was great, however the portion sizes have decreased quite a bit - there is now less meat and more gravy. The is also a lot weaker. Hope this changes soon.
One of my favourite restaurants, the service is great, the staff are friendly and the food is outstanding I would definitely recommend going here. The food is not expensive as what you pay for is what you get. If you aren't a fan of spicy food you can reuqest for mild which isn't hot at all. The food really is amazing and portions are more than enough.
Great North Indian food! We absolutely enjoyed every meal, each having its own unique taste and intense flavours. I would recommend that you choose your level of heat cautiously, I’m used to quite a bit of heat but the medium heat was quite hot! Still absolutely delicious though. The chicken and prawn curry was my favorite by far, will definitely be back.
Awesome food.homely taste.must try Indian Manchurian veg.veg kadai which comes with paneer.must have it with chilli naan crispy
Been here so many times. Food is lovely always, both for sit down and takeaway. Highly recommend. Prices are very reasonable.
