Recommend! Perfect Italian food, great hospitality by Lawrence and overall wonderful experience. Lawrence went above and beyond to attend to our needs and was very thoughtful. Really appreciate his attentive service! Definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a good dine out experience in Johannesburg!

I used to think that this was a great restaurant until last night when I ordered take out and it ended up being the worse pizza I have eaten to date. The base was overcooked and i felt like i was biting into card board. The ends were completely burnt to black. The toppings were dried out due to the pizza being overcooked. I had to search for the chicken between the huge amounts of olives and sundried tomatoes. Half the pizza ended up in the bin. Terrible experience. I have a picture of what the pizza looked like when I opened the box, unfortunately this post won't allow me to attach any pics.

I just ordered a pasta and it was very disappointing. This place used to be good but I’d never go back

Friday Lunch with colleagues everyone had a fantastic meal. This restaurant is the the best of Rome in sunny Johannesburg.
The owners are always there and super friendly.

I have ordered 4 times from eatalian- 3 times they cancelled the order, and once they sent the wrong item. The worst experience ever! Wouldn’t even give a single star if i had a choice!

Had dinner here recently and I was blown away. This must be one of my new favorite restaurants. The setting is quaint, rustic and intimate, great for a date night or a casual dinner with friends and family. The waitstaff are exceptional, great with kids and really fast and attentive. The food was the star of the show. We had a chicken woodfire pizza. The crust was cooked though, crispy and delicious. The toppings all tasted like the freshest ingredients and it didn't break the bank either. I'm already planning my next night out here.

Small unassuming Italian place that is not in the fanciest area, but the food is amazing and they have real truffles, imported from Europe. Great place for lunch with some friends or colleagues.

The EATalian is a really cosy place that has a copper wood and bronze theme to it. The walls are filled with vintage art and the restaurant makes the effort to make you feel that you have stepped into a foreign space filled with light and aroma and Italian authenticity. Although I had not eaten at the EATalian, I did order a pot of tea and a cappachino. Unfortunately the coffee was brewed at an extremely high heat which burnt the coffee and made it very strong. So much that I didn't finish it. I look forward to trying the food soon.

Twice in a row they've cancelled Uber eats orders long after accepting them without explanation

Reliably a great meal, with a great ambiance. Their gnocchi generally takes that dish to a new level. My only suggestion for improvement would be an increase in vegetarian pizza types.

Oh my goodness. The food is delicious! Best Gnocchi I've had. The ambiance is perfect. The service goes the extra mile. Everything about this place is just intended to be enjoyed.

Fantastic place for a relaxed and very tasty meal. Great service, friendly staff and the best Italian restaurant in the area. Definitely worth a lot of repeat visits.

Pretty average. Pizza was underdone, cheese uncooked in places, avo still had skin on alot of pieces. Rushed. Maybe experience would've been better sit down. Take away pizza 5/10

Some of the best fresh pasta I have had in Jhb. Accompanied by excellent service, (which is hard to come by these days) I was had a fantastic overall experience

Food Quality is horrible when they know it's a Uber delivery.

Gave us what was not stipulated on the menu, to top it all off spend to the vakue of R270 for only 2 people and it literally was enough to feed a small child.

Called to complain and nothing was done. So much for quality.

Absolutely divine pasta. The attention to detail, consistency of the sauce and quality of the pasta is outstanding. Magnifico!
