The Fairway Hotel, Spa and Golf Resort

Beautiful place tucked away in Randburg. Conference facilities were great and the rooms were spacious and upmarket. The food was good and service was exceptional.

We had a Sunday buffet for a friends birthday and was that a truly finger licking good experience.
The food set out was gorgeous to look at and so tasty.
A huge selection of starters with my choice going to the bean soup with a self baked sourdough bread was really worth it.
My wife dove into the array of fish and oysters and some other little delicacies.
The mains were veggies, 3 different starch, ox-tail, roast chicken pieces, goulash and 3 different roasts. So difficult to have to make a decision on what to have and what to leave. I settle on the stews while my wife had roast beef and pork. She was over the moon with the roasted meats. The Yorkshire pudding was a winner and a truly magnificent dish.
The pudding table was loaded with all sorts of sweet treats which I decided to give a skip. Everyone else had a go and were all full of praise.

The place is perfect but I gave them 4 stars because there was shortage of stuff and it really affected our girls outing

The Fairway Hotel is the perfect place to stay when on a work trip in JHB. It was a pleasure to return to my spacious, clean room after a long work day snd because of its location (on the golf course) it is extremely quiet in the evenings. Spend a bit more, if your budget allows, and book a luxury room.

We had lunch twice at Restaurant at the hotel side.food was good and good value for money.staff was extremely load both days.
The cleaning staff knocked on our door at 9h00 to clean the room on check out day.

Always a great option for drinks or a good meal with a great view and tranquil setting. Great location and service too!

Because of dishonest staff, dirty shower. We recently stayed there, on leaving we still had a birthday lunch there for my husband. But because I was in rush to pack, I completely forgot a dress and an expensive pure leather jacket that I bought overseas, it was extremely expensive and hanging RIGHT NEXT TO THE DRESS. On arriving back home I realized I had left these 2 items behind. I reported and was told they recovered the dress but not my jacket. Mike the head of security did a in depth investigation but after a few days called me back to say that the search was inconclusive? I was astounded as how can the dress be recovered and not my leather jacket that was hanging right next to each other. I will never stay there again and may i warn all customers who want to book a stay there to lock away their belongings or do not take an valuable clothing with them, as it will get stolen. I said I am totalling astounded that the dress was recovered and not my jacket which was hanging right next to each other and with all security been checked how is this possible. I told Mike I knew I would not get my jacket back! Please be aware of this, their staff are dishonest! Their buffet is also rated to be excellent, but our experience was really unimpressive. Please heed my warning. I was not even offered some sort of compensation, it was definitely a staff member who was clever enough to steal my jacket. So please be aware of this or avoid staying at this hotel!

The service that we experienced from Granville and his team while staying at the Villas was exceptional.

I stayed in the villas, and yes it had all that was needed, but the little bench by the window I'm each room, had little stains on them. I felt they could at least wash them from time to time, oh and the TV station were too restricting, no music channels.
Anyways regardless, it was a beautiful experience dining and staying there.

Elegant setup and deco, both indoor and outdoor spaces enjoyable.
Great evening dining especially if you looking to host a gala dinner.

The staff members were very helpful and professional and the food from the restaurant was of the highest quality and standard. Im definitely coming back.

Wow. The best place to be. OMG! The staff! The facilities! The food! Definitely feel bad for other hotels because I'm gonna keep comparing them to this one. And also I'd go there over and over and over and again.

A comfortable place. Buffet dinner is allways tops. If you need a great place to stay in Randburg this is the best option.

I also met a lovely man 15.5.15 which was a Friday Eve with NICK playing his music. Now 4 years later i am married to that man and very happy. SO YES FAIRWAY THANK YOU FOR BEING A LOVELY HANGOUT ON FRIDAY NIGHTS AS WELL. Bartender GEORGE friedliest chap ever. Highly recommend playing a game of golf to some of my buddies too. I'll have to soon book at the spa and see for myself what its like.fond memories.

I do not know what pep talk these guys get in their morning meetings or (at least I hope it's a pep talk,) but the service is really top quality. Friendly, polite, helpful, big smiles and professionalism all round starting from the guard at the front gate. I give the service and the look of the place 5 stars, the food was a bit of let down at times, not consistent.

Pathetic, that's my opinion. Been there numerous times and not once have they been able to cook a steak decently. The meat cuts seem cheap and nothing special is added for any flavour. And god forbid you enjoy a rare steak, because that is seemingly impossible for the chef to prepare. So very disappointed with this establishment.

Overall nice place.pricy & not very helpful with meal orders at restaurant.waited 35 min fir drinks which never arrived, so we left.

Friendly staff who are efficient and gel. Always a welcomed combination after many hours of travel. Beautiful rooms with great attention to detail.

The place is beautiful but the buffet is not nice, food can be better and there are no discriptors of meals. Guests always wonder that is being served and you end up not eating fearing that there might be things your allergic to in the food. I told them this but even after spending two weeks there, it was not addressed
