Being visiting many years s place that stood the test of hard times, Owner and staff great.

Lovely restaurant and service, food (breakfast) is great and friendly service, has great specials

Good food at reasonable prices and very friendly staff especially Johnson who is one of most friendly and efficient people we have met.
The Sirloin steak special on a Sunday is very affordable and tender and tasty. If you are ever in the area the Huguenot restaurant is highly recommended.
We continue to enjoy our steaks at The Huguenot Restaurant. They always have a steak and chips special.

The chicken schnitzel is the best I've had, along with the Irish coffee. Great service and great prices.will keep going back

We are regular customers and thought we'd spoil our children with a Sunday breakfast. We had the All day breakfast, which is well priced but we were disappointed with the bacon, hash browns and the boerewors was still raw in the middle. We sat outside and rarely saw our waiter, who had a very arrogant attitude and wasn't wearing his mask over his nose and mouth. Usually we are very satisfied with the food, atmosphere and service at Huguenot. I do hope that this was a once off occurrence.

Unfortunately this gets a 2 out of 10 for me, it's a HUGE NOT! I was appalled at the very high price point, for food that was very basic (and a menu with limited options). No drinks menu available.

The food was not well presented, the taste was average and portion size was dismal.

I had coffee milkshake - it was not sweet, just tasted like cold stale coffee.

The ambiance was lacking, no effort has been made to make the place at least seem welcoming or inviting.

WOULD NOT recommend!

Excellent food! Staff are friendly and helpful. This place rocks old school! Not great decor but the food is insanely great!

I totally enjoyed the company and the food. The milkshake was top notch and the service was great. What a pleasant experience.

Food was great but the service was a bit dissapointing, the waiters have a weird attitude. Like we should be so lucky to be served by them. I can't explain it, or maybe they just dont care. Anyway it was odd.

Went to the PNA for a few items and saw the sign for a Tee bone steak and vegetables for R 89.00. So it was almost lunch time the wife an I went in,
Beautiful resturant and about only 50 % full,
I had the steak and the wife had the cavery with starters and sweets as well for R 180.00
Waiters were very polite and we enjoyed the lunch

Food was really good though

The restaurant is quiet cosy, good to go and get to know a person (date). The food is palatable and run a lot of specials making dining there very affordable. The drawback for was that the table was a bit untidy, dessert takes a really long time to arrive.

Awesome food.great prices.quiet and relaxed.nice cocktails and definitely a must if you want an intimate, relaxing atmosphere and great meal.older waiters that are really respectful and know how to keep their distance, but still be available. I highly recommend.

Shocking service after not even being paid attention to, to be seated, waited 10min before I had to go and ask for service and menus. Food terrible, lamb chops burnt. Will never return.

Wonderfull experience best food the steak was amazing and at excellent prices. Their specials at the moment is unbeatable

Wont be coming back owner very rude! Plus We called to find out if they have stock of oysters the owner said yes we have plenty. We got there and they only had 3! Very disappointed.

The best value for money Restaurant in the area. Old world service combined with good food at a reasonable price.a 400 gram Espetada at R170 with side dishes and a sauce, yum. I have tried this at other Restaurants and had to go back to the Huguenot restaurant a second time to order this dish.
