The Irish Rock reviews
27 Hubby and i decided to go out for a quick bite, which turned into one of the most amazing evenings ever!
The new manager Adriaan was outstanding, he checked on numerous times without be invasive. Very friendly staff, being in the industry myself, to see such a well run restaurant/pub was refreshing! You will definitely see me again.
Keep it up guys
Undoubtedly the place that has the biggest menu for a time off with some friends and looking for a good time. Prices are very competitive and have clean and decent tables. Friendly people and good vibe, will definitely be going back.
Great food, prepared with great attention to detail, taste and appearance. Generous helpings, too! Get there!
Food was good, service was just okay and the atmosphere was okay only the coldness since it's winter. The fireplace wasn't on fire.
Nice food, nice chilled beer and a good vibe on a Sunday afternoon.
I liked the Raggae Band that was entertaining on that day
Good service, friendly staff, cozy atmosphere and loadshedding friendly! We had another great time, thank you!
Has a large bar area, inside dining area and wooden tables on the patio. Some TVs were a bit fuzzy due to signal issues which was annoying trying to watch the F1. Drinks aren't the cheapest, decent pub food menu though.
Good spot if you are looking for decently priced drinks and friendly service. Nothing fancy or picturesque but a good "local" watering hole.
Love the atmosphere. Lost my phone without noticing it and a staff member brought it back to me.
As always good but today the service was slow and almost no existent. Sad really because it's usally good. Guys this place is a fav
Fantastic New Chilli Sauce,
RedNeck Red Peri Peri, and Garlic Chilli with Double Cream Yoghurt.

Atmosphere:
- Very relaxed, pub vibes with good music and a couple TVs.
Staff:
- Only dealt with one lady. She did well with our 9 top.
Food & Beverages:
- Certainly better than expected, with the calamari being the highlight. The Jalapeño and Feta sauce is also delicious.
Value for Money:
- Sure, the portions could be slightly better for the price, but not a bad place to be.
Notes:
- The Liquid Cocaine shooters are about R30 for 8.
For a pub it is very clean and has a diverse menu - good-tasting dishes that is different from the norm- friendly and efficient staff and clean toilets
Always had so much fun here and always felt part of the family! Thank you irish rock and the team that goes into making it one of the best pubs in the area!
Service was good. Our burgers were also good. Ordered nachos. Was very oily as apparently they are deep fried chips and had very sour guacamole and the sour cream had separated and become luquid. Manager tasted it and then took it off the bill and gave a free drink.so at least the manager responded well. Overall I don't reccomend the nachos here.
Wonderful place. Really nice cold beer, the house lager was refreshing and one of the best chicken bunny chows I have had. The rest of the table ordered various items from the menu and everyone left satisfied and smiling.
Really recommended with an old school vibe.
Unlike the Irish rock at little falls, they do not have devil's peak on tap or in the bottle. Disappointed
Well run place. Always busy and a good atmosphere. Food is usually fine with the usual pub favourites and some Irish features.
Quaint little pub just bordering the westrand area of Johannesburg, always a vibey atmosphere, competitively priced to the surrounding resturants and a great quiz night place!
