I regularly attend The Stone Grill because i am always looked after well. The food is really good . It is real value for money

Every day, the specials are worthwhile. The delicious meals satisfy the big eaters!

The daily specials are exceptional. Today's special was a HUGE plate of superbly grilled chicken wings. I shared mine with a friend, and we loved every morsel

Do yourself a favour and visit this place. The wine list is adequate and reasonably priced. Service is good.

I was disappointed however
1. that the mens' toilet had no paper OR other hand towels.
2. The electric hand drier did not work
3. The bar lady could not break a R50 note to tip the car GUARD

My opinion regarding last week's quick dinner

Some off the Staff was very very or let's say extremely poorly dressed.

Small glass bottle Coke is R17 which is Labeled with a Recommended selling price of R6 or R5. Could atleast make it R10 or R12 but anyway.

They sell the real potato chips which is excellent big chips that you won't find anywhere else!

I only went there once so that is my experience for the first time.

Yes I would definitely go eat there again even if the food is a bit more expensive it's worth it!

Great all round, prices are fantastic and food is good. Service could be better but staff were friendly but a bit slow due to volume of customers. I would still recommend this place for lunches and breakfast.

It is not a "fancy" restaurant but it is clean and neat.

Friendly waiter staff and it ends there. The restaurant was on the dirty side, I ordered a Draught and Dbl Gin and Tonic which had cockroach in it. I did not get to eat what I ordered as the food never came. The manager was dressed sloppy and was uninterested he never came back after we asked about our food.
We paid for the drinks and left after waiting for more than an hour.

It was my 1st time there and it was just a wonderful and relaxing time.the Buffet is so mouth watering.
Loved it.

Its such a great restaurant and wasnt aware of its existence until a friend took me out and we dined-in.dinner and beer at affordable quality prices.such a wonderful place if u dont pay attention to white folks that usually stare at you alot during your dine-in

More and more people are discovering this venue. The waiters are all attentive. Simon, Kc, Richard are kind and efficient and ensure you are made welcome. The braai chef Is brilliant.

The vibe is lovely. The staff are welcoming.

Wheelchair friendly. Conveniently situated by the Steve Biko hospital. Good parking.

Not the best ribs, ribs where flavourful but cold, consider putting them on the grill prior to serving.
We are generally happier, this time round a little disappointed.

Awesome Service

Relaxed atmosphere. Easy access to shops. Start on one side.finish at the same side. A nice circle route.

Most of the dishes on the Sunday Buffet won't be anything you "write home about". But, I doubt you will find a basic plate of cooked food elsewhere for under R100. Unthinkable value for money!

If I could give this place a quarter star I would.
The most disgusting service me and my family have ever received. First off the waiter is pathetic. We constantly had to repeat ourselves. And even after repeating, this guy continuously brought us the wrong orders. Shameful really. After waiting for 30 minutes for our food and keep in mind this place is not busy whatsoever, with no waiter in sight, not checking in if we need more drinks or anything. Food arrives, we get a tbone instead of a rump. How do you not see the difference there?
This whole place is so distraught and just looks like everyone working here is physically here but their brains are somehow somewhere else. Management pathetic.
Would not recommend. For a drink sure but no place for a meal!

Their Sunday buffet is AMAZING! For R90 pp, you can eat to your heart's content, and the drinks at the bar are fairly priced.

Now this is one mean place which we will definitely visit again. If you are fuzzy about looks, you might found reason to complain but if you are fuzzy about food and price, I dare you to find better. My fiancée had a Cadillac burger with chips and what a meal! I had a 500gm T bone medium rare with a choice of sides. I took the pap and sauce. It has been a long time since I last had such a delicious soft piece of meat!
The service was good thanx to Musa.
My next stop will be on a Sunday for a buffet lunch.

Fantastic value, tasty simple food and very friendly service.

The 500g rump was incredible.

Its one of my go-to places between meetings.

My only recommendation is to consider having public WiFi (pretty please).
