Restaurant Theo's Kitchen reviews
25Not the best chip shop I have ever had. But it's still very tasty. Staff seem cross all the time but not rude at all.
Excellent food at an affordable price and very friendly. Our delicious burger and chips was almost twice the size of the similar items you get at other places.
I have come here twice now and it is definitely a mid week delight. The food is always delicouis, very flavourfull and the portions are more than fair. The food came rather quickly, it took about 10-15min for my order (both times it was a takeaway order for 2). There is more than enough parking. Expect to spend about R100- R200 for 2 poeple (depending on countries financial situation.)
Theo's has the best old style fish and chips in Centurion. They change their oil regularly, so you never get the nasty surprise of food that looks good and then taste of old oil. Not cheap, but top-quality food is never cheap
Aunt Hellen and Mr. This little Fish and Chips Take a way place is 1 of the treasured places that you simply must go to. Many years of stunning service and the best fish and chips one can find. Love them
The best chips and burgers in the gauteng area. They been running for over 30yrs. Their bacon & cheese burger with chips and a cool drink combos are awesome. I order it everytime I go there. Been buying from them for over 15yrs.
Called to complain that the chips I should have received with the burger was not delivered, I was told I need to come and get it. After paying for delivery for a reason. Vetkoek with curry mince was really not good either, full of curry leaves. Took one bite and threw it away. Not supporting this place again.
Ordered chips from here, it was raw, when I took it back to the shop the owner complained to me that the chips are fine and being 40 years in the business he never had a complaint. Bad customer service.
You don't visit Theo's for the ambiance, nor for a chat to the owner. You do go there for the best fish and chips in Pretoria. Been the best for about 30 years now.
Although the food has always been good, the place is located in a rundown centre that should be demolished. Make sure you don't go there after dark!
Pictures on uber eats are not a reprentation of what the actual item is. So its false advertising. If the description is "Fish" and then theres a picture of "fish and chips" and theres no chips thats false advertising. Shame on you
Good fresh food. Tasty as food should be, but a little on the pricey side. Still, always stop there for meal when in the vicinity.
Food portions is large, nice food, location not so great, but will recommend their fish and chips to mention but one dish.
The best fries are found here and they serve the best hake and delicious burgers. No long waiting for your order. Great fast food destination.
The best fish and chips, and other Portuguese specialities, in Centurion / Pretoria! Real old school f&c!
Best food, best service, best prices. To be honest if you dont like his food you dont like food
Food is great. But prices are steep. Their home made crunchy chips (not slap chips/ french fries) are to die for!
These guys have been around forever. Great food (proper "slap chips"!), generous portions, quick and friendly service.
Έξω απ’ το χορό λες πολλά τραγούδια.
But in this case when the food is poor it is poor. Not sure what you guys eat on that side of the world for all these rave reviews but I cannot see it. Drove there from PTA Central due to the reviews and I do not agree.
The Fishcake: Yuck yuck yuck! Gave it to the dogs. They had no problem with it.
The Dagwood: Man o man way below par. Between slice 1 and 2: Tomatoes, lettuce, broken hard egg and a patty (if homemade very badly done and it was definitely frozen before. F grade meat used.). Between slice 2 and 3: a piece of ham. That was it. I ate one half trying to convince myself it would get better. The other half was halved and given to my dogs. Again they found this very pleasing.
The Chips: Disappointing! But these I ate after adding them to the frying pan with some olive oil and other spices. Went down pretty well with sweet chili sauce.
