Highly recommended if you appreciate bad attitude when trying to book a table. Would rather have empty reserved tables at 5pm, than accommodate customers who want a quick in and out meal who would spend no more than 45 minutes in the restaurant. They clearly are making too much money as they are prepared to turn away customers.

We found ourselves here completely by accident (the Christmas lights at the zoo got rained out) and wow! What an amazing discovery. We had the most fantastic service and the best cheesecake we've ever tasted. Do yourself a favour and get the salted caramel cheesecake, you won't be disappointed. We'll definitely be back.

Always a winner! Great food and great atmosphere - slightly on the pricier side but overall great experience.

Desserts and wine selection are extremely good!
Pizza topping range is also very creative - Porato and Feta is a delicious choice.

Yet another excellent experience at Trabella when my wife and I visited this evening. An important test is not how well things go but how to recover a difficult situation. When my penne arrived it looked like linguine. An immediate apology followed from both our waitress and the manager. My delicious carbonara this time with penne arrived very quickly. Great food, great ambience and great service. Looking forward to my next visit already.

Incredible thin pizza bases and amazing options with loads of creative non meat options, it's a homely, comforting space!

Excellent service and a nice location. It would be nice to feel more welcome when you get there than trying to guess how the door is or where to sit. The restaurant has an inviting decoration (unless you are seated in the hallway). The food is good, we had the porcini pizza, the Parma ham pizza, amatriciana pasta and a lasagna. Everything was good but no great.
I think that it is a bit telling that carbonara has cream as an ingredient (it must not). The concept works but it is still a long way to reach the standards of the best Italians in the city.

The Porcini Pizza is hands down the best pizza I've ever had. Our waitress Kwetza is amazing as always. Love this restaurant.

We only had pizzas and cannot fault the ingredients but the pizza base was extremely card board like and taste like unbaked flour. Food arrived 5 minutes after ordering. Not my idea of a evening out!

You can always tell how good an Italian restaurant is by their Napoltana or red sauce. Here I ate a brinjal stack, not on the menu, but the melanzane was top notch with a delicious green avo and Parmesan salad. The wine selection is small which I prefer. The host recommended a Rustenberg granache which was excuisite. Can't wait to try their pizza. Service was excellent. Well done guys!

Love the Tracy Special pizzas, the fresh cream pastas and of course italian kisses as a dessert. So divine!
Also love the attention from the staff &kindness, they have the eye in every detail.

Best pizza I had in a long time. Bacon avo en feta is my all time favorite and it didn't disappoint. Lovely atmosphere and friendly staff.

Wonderful resturant ambience and delicious food. My boyfriend mentioned it was the best pizza he has had in ages. The porcini mushroom pasta is very very good. Definitely worth a repeat visit!

The place is cozy and beautiful clean and service lovely. Ordered pizza and it was amazing, the friend i was with ordered pasta and she too was happy. I will def come back

Staff are very accommodating. Allowed me to bring my Yorkie in and gave her water. So grateful. Very good coffee. 5 stars for the ambience

Ordered pizza via Uber Eats, and it came on a ready-made base. Really? You don’t know how to make your own dough? That’s what running a pizzeria is all about - or should be.
And then to charge R 160.not cool.
Next time we‘ll buy the ready-made base from the supermarket and make the same kind of pizza at home at a fraction of the price.

If this restaurant is not listed as one of the to 5 Italian restaurants. Something is horribly amiss!
