This place exceeded my expectations. Very very happy with the prompt and friendly service, massive portions and flavourful food. Very stylish decor and everything is high quality. So many options to choose from. The restaurant was able to accommodate us even after I accidentally reserved the Sunday instead of the Saturday. The hubby's birthday was a massive success, thanks to this gem. 100% worth it.

Restaurant is huge but a reservation is still necessary especially during the weekend. Large number of staff so there’s always someone nearby should you need anything. Steaks are very good and there is so many different combinations to choose from. Would recommend their aged steaks and the chicken livers to start with. Probably the best steakhouse in Sandton City.

What an amazing experience we had at Trumps, the food was excellent. The service was awesome. The atmosphere was perfect for our family dinner. They were generous with the food portions. We had oxtail, basil pasta, the sirloin with lamb chops and wors.

Very busy restaurant. Service was good and prices were reasonable. Meat came way rarer than requested though. Overall it was great nonetheless.

Great for groups, dates and a solid good time with family or friends.

Staff were friendly, warm and gave great recommendations on food. Will definitely go back there.

We had a booking and we were very well take care of despite arriving late, the meals were served in a timely fashion, we didn't even feel like we had been waiting for long, the food was nice and our waiter ensure everyone had a pleasant time! This place is a good opportunity to remind oneself why one works hard!

Right within Mandela Square, at the corner, there ls corzy corner with an excellent service followed by true african menu, the experience was superb and Best service. I have loved the place. I won't mind going back again.

The meat is superb and succulent. The food is delightful and they serve it within a few minutes even if it's full.

A long standing restaurant at Mandela square in Sandton. It’s been around since 1994. Trumps has great biltong that you will also find at a kiosk inside Sandton city. We had an avocado and tomato salad with some cucumber and feta cheese. However the creamy dressing overwhelmed the dish. I had to scrape it off as I ate the salad. The other started was the halloumi with sweet and sour sauce. The halloumi was perfectly fried. Delicious.

The mains were salmon and chips. The accompanying sauce elevated the dish. The other dish was the chicken livers which also overwhelmed by the sauce. The chips and onion rings were also enjoyable.

Visited Trumps for a great dinner. The Chicken wings were not my favorite, they tasted like they were cooked in water with no sauce then brushed with BBQ sauce after. They tasted much better with the Peri Peri sauce which is really addictive. The prawns tasted really good, the lamb shank, I was a bit disappointed, it was not falling off the bone as I had expected but none the less, it tasted good. The service is exceptional.

This place is amazing! So much better than you average restaurants! You get your money's worth! They fill your plate up so don't even stress about prices when you come here because you will be so satisfied! Food is amazing!

Always a good time at Trumps. Impeccable service. Great food selection and a decent wine list to pair with the food. From steak to seafood they really knock it all out the park! Looove the chefs and the personal touch they add to the food, the way the interact with customers, what a solid team! Keep up the great service!

Let me start off by saying the food here is absolutely phenomenal. From the ambience to the service received. Everything was amazing. I had the pleasure eating the oxtail stew, ribs, lamb chops, mussel soup, and grilled prawns (yes I went all the way in). Everything was perfectly seasoned. If I lived in JoBurg I would definitely eat here like twice a week easily.

What a gem in the Heart of Sandton! From our arrival we are welcomed with smiles. The food is top quality, you can taste that only the best and freshest products are used and truly made with passion. I highly recommend them for any and all occasions, not only will you feel special but you will receive a delightful experience on you pallet.

The place is nice and cosy. The food is terrible, I ordered seafood pasta, they literally served me sauce with a dash of pasta. Not to mention that the sauce was just terrible, I didn’t even eat it. Had a cocktail, it was just ordinary, not bad but not delicious. My friend ordered chips and chicken, the chicken was just ok, nothing special. The chips were really nice.

Good value for money, friendly staff. Best chicken livers I've eaten in a long time, half chicken peri peri was a bit dry and lacked spices.
