Unitas Hospital-ER

Been in casualties with a 5 year old for almost 2 hours… no communication… the hospital is grubby and terribly slow… I’m quite sure though that the price tag won’t match the shoddy service!

If this is what private hospitals are like the I am truly terrified. Treat the gaed like slabs of meat. NO patient nor family communication.
Staff simply do a job for a pay check no passion at all attitude is one of " don't care at all". CANNOT and will never recommend this hospital nor any of the doctor's to anyone.

When you ask to speak to someone you get ignored.

I will not let this go unattended I will make this known. Shocking care from Netcare shocking.

The first day I was here in Emergency ward I had to pay the Doctor R1600 as he doesn't claim from medical aid. I was then giving a long script of medicine. I went and bought it at clicks R1400. To get back and being told my duaghter was getting admitted to the Pediatric ward. The nurses were lovely. However the ward had bugs on the floor, toilet didnt lock. Room ceiling had mold, the sleeper couchers in the room is horrendous. Hurts your back. Food is not of a good standard at all. As a mom I couldn't get food unless I left my sick daughter which was not possible. Overall would rather go to another hospital in future.

Pediatrics ward were amazing from the on set. So accomodating.
Dr de Gama is really an excellent pediatrician and I would highly recommend her deapite being so far.

Worst Netcare I have ever been to. We arrived here with my husband at 2pm and barely got attention. Then at 4pm they took my husband in for an MRI scan and we waited 6 hours to get the results from the radiologist. They kept coming to us saying the results will be out in 10min but that passes then an hour later they say 15 min and nothing happens. This is frustrating especially being a 7 months pregnant woman waiting all night for such poor service.

Took my younger brother after he cut his knee open, they were very professional and friendly!

Next level medical care received at Netcare Unitas ICU cardiology. The nursing sisters are like angels in human bodies

I came here after being attacked by a car thief, and had nothing but excellent service and assistance!
