What a superb surprise. Gorgeous restaurant.
Service par excellence from the telephone booking meet and greet ushered to our table and presented meal with all the bells and whistles! We had the most delicious Seafood Platter, were served by Nigel, who treated us like royalty.
Thank you Verdicchio for an exceptional evening.

A restaurant worth visiting / returning to.
Food is absolutely amazing, service is on top form and the atmosphere is inviting.

Glamorous & romantic setting. Caters for all types of occasions be it a birthday party, lunch for 2, dinner with kids or a wedding they cater for it. We were allowed to bring our own cake and props. The menu is well priced and their portions are enough to eat & take away.
The waiters were all superbly friendly and patient with our little people as well.
Definitely going back for a delicious meal, grand setting & good service.

This is an amazing and fabulous Italian restaurant. The food was decadent and scrumptious, staff were very friendly and open! The places had good vibe and atmosphere to it. The cheese wheel pasta is simply amazing as the cheese is tossed with the pasta at your table side. There is always a queue and lots of people waiting. I would suggest to book ahead to avoid disappointment!

Absolutely amazing! First time having dinner at Verdicchio, everything from the ambience to the food was divine. Had Philani as our waiter who was very welcoming and made some great suggestions on both the drinks and food menu. Will definitely be back!

With the prevalence of bland decor and generic menu choices at restaurants these days, visit Verdicchio for an outstanding experience. Great service with a smile from Skhu! Thank you for going the extra mile.

Honest opinion, RIP OFF!
If you can avoid it…
booked a table for 4 people yesterday 17/04/2022 at Verdicchio for the Restaurant Week. 495 rands per person for set menu (4 courses).
Short story: First we had to wait for everything, Arrived at 6pm ended at 9pm and one of us got sick and vomited at the table and ended at the monte casino clinic.
Long story:
Firstly, we had to ask for the complimentary bread that other tables got automatically after waiting for our starters.
Secondly, regarding the starters, the chef doesn’t know the difference between quinoa and couscous…selling quinoa for couscous.what a SCAM!
Thirdly, the service was awfully slow which tired us more.
Fourthly, they didn’t have desserts on the menu, bringing me without asking me a poor strawberry sorbet while i was expecting a strawberry mille feuille (layered pastry). Another SCAM and Really bad service.
Finally, one of us got food poisoning and she vomited at the table…the staff didn’t really act accordingly and took their own sweet time again to provide services…
Verdicchio is more Verdi.chiottes (chiottes in french).
However some dishes was good…

What an experience! The waiter set the Parmasan cheese wheel on fire, melting some cheese and mixing our pasta inside the cheese wheel. It was the most flavor full pasta I had in a long time, and highly recommend you try it. We enjoyed it with a glass of Sauvignon blanc, and that was a great food & wine pairing.

Good food good service. Throughly enjoyed the night out with friends and family. The crayfish was superb!

The worst very worst food I ever had service was choking rude and unprofessional waiters
Ask your chef to stop cooking with garlic as all what you taste is old rotten garlic owner is not there that’s why no one care

Had Oysters from this restaurant and unfortunately I am currently suffering from severe food poisoning.

Had a great meal here. Went twice in a row. It’s night pasta and second night seafood. Both were great. My favorite restaurant in the complex. Great experience sitting down in the cellar. Would highly recommend.

Delicious food we ordered the chicken and bacon pasta which was made on the cheese wheel delicious and creamy. Cocktails have enough alcohol in them, friendly and hands on staff and romantic ambiance. All in all a fantastic experience. Will definitely go back.

Fantastic food and awesome service. Loved the special treat with the Grana Padano cheese and pasta dish. Highly recommended.

Reservation was made a week in advance but still didn’t get a good table. Steak was not prepared to specification. Bathrooms not up to standard. Starter of halloumi smelt like fish. Very disappointing.

A great place to eat. Verdicchio has large selection of wines to choose from. The food is rich and filling. Our son had the cheese wheel pasta. The waiter will come to your table an prepare the pasta it is a sight to behold, a must for cheese lovers. I had Kleftico it was well worth the wait, it was tender and flavorful. We also asked for a bowl of Ravioli even though it is not on the menu the chef was happy to make a portion for us. It was some of the best I have had. For dessert we had cheese cake. This is a must if you love cheese cake. It is made in house and is creamy and is the perfect way to end off a meal.

Great food, attentive & friendly service, fantastic atmosphere and reasonable pricing. Really enjoyed my visit to Verdicchio and will definitely visit again. If you're in the area and keen for something a little different, head over to Verdicchio and take a seat in the wine cellar.

This was a great dining decision from many options. Warm grating and service from nomsa to sublime choices. Well done.

A beautiful restaurant with good food and great service. Plus the prices aren't too bad. Will definitely come back and recommend.
