Willem Prinsloo Agricultural Museum reviews
16It is always great to be able to step back into time. This museum gives you this detailed opportunity of time travel and see how our ancestors were living, surviving and fighting for their piece of heaven and home.
This museum has been around as long as i can remember.
Still a good experience.
Obviously slightly neglected due to the lack of support from the public.
It's still a great place to visit. Tranquil and a nice outing.
Very good variety of mashinary and agricultural goods to see. Old house very well kept and a good example of the time period furniture. Worth the visit.
Good bit of history and a nice walk down memory lane for those era. Pity the shop and restuarant was closed on a saturday morning.
Not what it used to be. Although it is clean. The exhibits and buidings are looking rather tatty. So sad. I guess it needs to be marketed to bring some money in.
Very nice, friendly staff and the whole premises is very clean.
Definitely worth the day with the whole family. Even grandma will enjoy it.
Good venue especially for the littlies to see the history of transport from original ox wagons to open and closed horse and oxen carriages.
1800s house is in brilliant condition and all the house contents is well preserved.
Overall the infrastructure is a little run down in terms of minor maintainance.
Please take your own drinks and food there's no place to buy a cold drink or lunch as the restaurant is closed with no shop close by.
Staff is very friendly and very helpful.
All in all a nice morning out.
Good service. Great historical storyline. Amazed by the fact of the carts and Wagons. Brings back memories from school
It's not really that great. Some old tractors and machinery. It's not really worth it. I would definitely not go there again
The staff are always friendly and helpful. The museum is in good condition and there is lots to see. Some exhibits are in the open air, well worth the walk. Bring hat, water and comfortable walking shoes. It's a lovely place for a quick visit. You can expect to spend about 2hours here.
A wonderful place to escape from the city. It is close to Pretoria. A very educational experience. A lovely place for a picnic or braai. You can look at farm implements and wagons from the late 1800 to 1900. The are some farm animals from historical breeds. Unfortunately due to lack of funding and personnel, things are a bit run down.
Wide range of historical agricultural equipment to see. The best time to go is when there is an agricultural festival on.
A vast range of well cared for agricultural museum items on display in a number of halls and also in well preserved buildings. Worth a visit!
Quit suprised at this museum. The place has improved from my last visit.
The museum is neat and proper organised, however the description of the items could have much more information.
The grills of the picnic site could improve on cleaniness and the ablution facilities needs a proper maintenance plan.
