Woolworths Irene Link reviews
10During peak shopping hours only 2 tills are operated! Meanwhile, the manager of the store stares at the long queue while trying to unpack chips. Don’t waste your time to go to this store.
Very poorly stocked. Absolutely below standard, quite disappointing Woolies. The Doringkloof one is even worse.
Beautiful store, and most of the produce is fresh and looks good. Not sure whether they are on back-up power during loadshedding, but we have found the occasional sad-looking packaged leafy greens on their cooled shelves. During several visits, we have found the shelves to be very empty, especially for fresh produce and baked goods (bread). The meat refrigerator is neat but not well ordered, it is somewhat frustrating to sift through disordered variations of not-quite-the-same thing (most recently crumbed chicken schnitzels, crumbed chicken breasts etc.
I don't think many people know about this woolies yet. Nice empty Isles with no queues. Good backery as well as good variety of fresh fruit, veggies and good meat range.
Same woolies prices though but let's be honest you shopping at woolies so you not trying to save.
Good overall shopping experience.
Really nice.very clean. Staff is very friendly however couldnt find some of the usuals that I normally find from other woolies branches
Living 600m away from Irene Link, I could not wait for this store to open. I am really disappointed - and have now abandoned shopping here and still drive to Southdowns.
The shopping experience is best described as 'meh'. There is nothing special or out of the ordinary. The checkout area is cramped and not user friendly. Choices are limited and there is ALWAYS something out of stock. I tried again this morning. No cocoa, no Eureka flour, no vanilla extract, no sparkling spring water. Not to mention rarely being able to get vegan staples.
The staff try their best and are really great. But this is just not enough.
The shop is nice and big I got myself a nice ready made salad. Quite a peaceful little shopping centre
The staff here is so kind so helpful and not shy if they don't know something they will call another stuff member.
Well stocked food department, very friendly Cafe staff. The clothing department is a separate shop, and it features a new, industrial look. There is no homewhere section at this W.
This is a great Woolies. It has both the clothing and food departments, which is wonderful. It's a bit smaller than the other Woolies that I had visited in the past, but it was also not as busy while I was here. It has a mini Woolies "Café" stand, where you can buy takeaway coffee, or sit outside and drink.
