Yami Parkrand

So disappointed. Phoned to place an order for delivery. I asked what the total was & if it included delivery fee & the person said yes. Just to get a call to say that the food is ready to be collected. When asking why it’s not being delivered, I was told the delivery bike isn’t available!?

Wish this was the 1st time that we had issues with Yami’s Parkrand, but unfortunately not! Waiting to feed young children only to have to make another plan…

Yami used to be our go-to place since it is conveniently close to home. It was nice to relax with friends and family after a hard day's work, however lately it just causes frustration to go there. They never have anything in stock and everyone, including the managers, have the worst attitude. You can see they don't want to do their jobs. I've now walked out of there twice due to the same issues. I won't go there again and I suggest you don't either.

We ordered a scwarma but they did not have rolls. Spar is about 100m from them... The waitress refused to serve us and another waitress took over. We will not eat there again.

Although the food is great I think that the management team is losing the plot. We tried to order the following that was not available: Gin on tap, Fokof lager, klipdrift special. None was available.
The poor waitress had to make excuses because management was nowhere to be seen. This used to be a great place but now it is becoming a pain in the back side because you cannot get what is advertised on the menu.

I use to love Yami Parkrand. However, my past three experiences, the last couple of months, are sadly not the same.
Several times they do not have stock of the food and beverages. Leaving the servers under challenging situations. The food is still good if they have what you want. I guess new management is not so good for Yami Parkrand at the moment. I must say, I loved the manager from about a year ago.

They had specials, when we ordered the took the order and after a few minutes they came back saying they don't have it. I ordered something els, when the food came out it was old, cold and burned.

This restaurant is a hidden gem, food is fantastic. Proper wood oven and CRAFT Beer on tap. I would definitely recommend coming here. You will not be disappointed.

Had a lovely breakfast. Their fries are too die for. Bye bye Wimpy. This is my new breakfast go to place.

The place is nice, clean and comfortable. Enjoyed my lunch the food was good. The patties were so fresh and tasteful. Definitely coming back.

I don’t want to be mean, but we’ve been giving this place too many chances! They used to have very good food, but lately it’s horrible. Their service is worse! The food will take forever, it’s just not worth eating at Yami rib burger anymore! You pay for food and service but you don’t get either of them. When you order for delivery you wait an hour and a half for them to pitch with your food, it gets here cold, there is always something missing and funny enough when you phone after you ordered they don’t answer. They will definitely not see us again.

This place is worth every cent! This is my 15th time in this year never thought I'll do reviews but the food the service the price the portions are all just right!

Pathetic service. Ordered crispy eisbein and got soggy disgusting cold shriveled fist sized so called eisbein. Absolutely useless staff no management. Definitely would not recommend.

The worst experience ever and this is actually not the first time! My first experience I understood it was month end but today was not busy at all, staff members were verbally fighting in front of me, the food I ordered was horrible the wings tasted very stale, the peri wings had no peri whatsoever, I also ordered a kiddies meal (chicken strips and chips) some of my sons chips were cold and under cooked. Normally I try to order food when it’s not month end because I expect quality and I’ve been disappointed by Yamis twice already in one year, I doubt I will come back or recommend the place to anyone

Price.about 25%Cheaper than the one you usually go to inside your fav mall.
Meals: Generous enough for my dog to always thanks the might Hound Lordy lord of ribs DAMN!

Beer. BEER, so much beer and yes 1Litre Brought coming soon am sure, i prey.

Ambience: Between my lovely gal and more than generous portions of ribs (THEY HUGE) i barely had time to notice much else.i plan to return and i wanna bring my niece, she is a skater and lover of fine food.

Thanks once more for great afternoon, hopefully next time i have time to take some picture and videos maybe.

PS. The cappuccino was "on point" to quite the madam. Mina i saw a dogs face coffee artwork (Mind blown lol) /hope its not stencil lol.

Just go if you have never been.but please, dont forget to remember to notice everything at your leisure to pleasure.

So very disappointed with you guys today. No excuses. Yes, no power or water, but what stops you from buying water at the Spar to make tea. Or coffee. Or to go and get cream.
My order was simple, tea and a waffle with cream. Wife was the peanutbutter waffle and a strawberry Juice.
No peanutbutter. No cream. No water. We also come to your restaurant. But was very disappointed today. Spar has water, cream and peanutbutter. So no excuses.

Very poor Service. We arrived and the waiter mumbled a few words. The waiter came to the table to receive our drinks order.but didn't great.asked if we wanted drinks.just stood there and waited for us to give our order.also mumbled a few words.so to conclude, a waiter should be the face of service and the restaurant and therefore I can say it was poor service, unfriendly and unwelcoming. 1/10 would not recommend

Constantly supplied with incorrect items. Complete and utter inconsitency in food quality. One day you get great quality the next its awfull, more awfull days than good, horrid oil soaked chips and onion rings, overcooked meat patties' somedays you get x1 patty others you get x2 patty's Complaints land on deaf ears.

The most unpleasant greeting received when we arrived on Tuesday. Could hardly hear what the waiter was saying as he was mumbling and very unfriendly. Did not seem like he really wanted to help us. Extremely poor service.
