Beach Bums

Beach bums has a great location on the beach on the la Mercy coastline, it has an amazing chilled vibe with music annd food while overlooking the beach. Its a safe spot to go had your kids can play in the ocean while you chill back and watch over them, they have some great selections of signature drinks as well as various food items on offer! Since i love the ocean this is definitely one of my favorite places.

This venue is located in a perfect spot on the beach. Good food with great service. Not a very family oriented place though, No baby change facilities

Don't expect to much, but if you are into laid back, limited choices and average food, it's your kind of hang.

Been there yesterday and ordered drinks. The one drink was served with strawberries that were slimy and clearly going bad. The other drink that we ordered was a virgin pinacolada, instead we were served a plain vanilla milkshake the waitress then tries to justify the kitchen's mishaps. Have been here previously and enjoyed the vibe and food but yesterday was a disappointment. Management needs a serious wake up.

Sadly no beer on tap. Lovely views. Music v loud & modern. Not too everyone's taste.

Usually a great place to go to, but this time service was slow, they did not have stock of anything in terms of drinks and food. You wouldn't have expected this during school holidays.

Had lovely waitress.lovely pizza.but the menu is very limited.no breakfast come on guys! No wheelchair available for people struggling to walk! No Amstel? Really? You can do better

Lovely place to be for the vibrant young and old. Food is good. Limited range of alcohol served. Good atmosphere to catch up with friends and family

Normally I love it.but for a long weekend everything we wanted was out of stock.that's totally unacceptable and unprofessional.cannot seeing myself going back in the near future as we have to travel 100km just to get there and expect most if not all items on the menu to be good to go.

Absolutely breathtaking views right by the beach. Mouth watering burgers and cocktails to die for. Great service from Mike. I will definitely be back soon!

I am absolutely disappointed at the moment. Our first visit to your venue and we get segregated from the rest of the patrons behind a wall, everyone else that came into your establishment after us was shown to the main restaurant. While we had been forgotten about behind a wall.
I get that there are certain restrictions with the covid pandemic, however having said this, when we were taken into your establishment with a group of other patrons we were the only family that got seated in this area while all the others were shown to tables in the main seating area.
Our waiter cleaned our table, told he needs to serve others first and then would be back. We continued to wait and eventually lost interest and walked out.

Very disappointed as I have only heard good things about this venue.

Excellent service, setting, food and atmosphere. Never pass up a chance to relax with good food, tasty drinks, and good friends with your toes in the sand!

Favorite place to be on the North Coast of KZN, SA.
5 Star. International standards/Local Experience with beach views and tasty food/drinks to enjoy.
Always time & money well spent at Beachbums International.
Definitely paying a visit again soon!:)

What a pleasure to enjoy a delicious meal whilst digging your feet into the beach sand with a clear and uninterrupted view of the ocean.
The service was just as impeccable as the cuisine.

Nice place to relax and grab a bite while the kiddies collect shells. Watch out for broken glass pieces on the beach!
