29Showers need maintenance, maybe bigger geysers as the hot water runs out very fast if you shower late hours
It was an absolutely amazing experience. Especially the fact that I'm from Durban. I was blown away
We where in the Area as we had family at the Casino.
There is only 2 Restaurants in the Casino, a Tiny Kids Play Area.
We sat at the Hotel reception and ordered meals, which took an Hour, upon arrival, food was warm/cold and dry chicken. Service was very sad. Supervisor arrived, explained and then The Chef arrived (hubby asked for a Refund). It's sad that as an Entertainment establishment, it lacks non Entertainment for the Non Gamblers!
I had a Sunday lunch date with a couple of colleagues for the 1st time, all the way from Ladysmith. After two hours sat, we were asked to leave abruptly as our session was over by a waiter. I could understand as it was not explained by Mandla in my booking via email that they have two sessions. It's only on arrival that he told us, but we thought that he was joking. She allowed us to finish after making her understand. We were really disappointed by the communication, which was not clearly written or explained They don't even offer drinks at their buffet, we ask for coke, which they didn't even have as we were going to pay.
The machines are all set you spend R, 500 you come out with nothing if lucky you come with R100
Casino is really bad although clean, RTP is well below the standards and not a pleasure playing as for the room's way too expensive but on par with other hotels as for service well there is none
The food not the best.and they let the people go in the casino.not properly clothed.seems like they only have their underwear on
It was a pleasure to be there. The staff very helpful. We enjoy a stop there on our journey and a bite to eat
Not friendly courteous service. Preference shown to certain patrons. Winnings are minimal irrespective of amount of money played. Disappointing really.

COVID pandemic has hurt us all.
Located at the entrance of Newcastle this is an amazing location for business or private travelers to explore Newcastle. Lovely finishing, clean and tidy with a pool and fully functioning fitness center. The only issue is the dining area staff. Not attentive to guest needs and very slow. Very poor customer service. The buffet was excellent and catered for majority dietary requirements and was of excellent quality. For a major hotel chain it was disappointing that the coffee machine was not working during supper time and secondly the quality of coffee needs to be looked at. Rooms are modern with excellent finishes and also have a bath tub and separate shower. There is a also a bar fridge. Overall a good stay with good security as well.
Accommodation superb, but the food not so great. It got me sick twice after two separate dinners.
Wonderful place to visit and good for holidays and family outing. Available is the Blackrock cassino if you are a gambling person. Covid rules strictly adhered to. Nearby is a big beautiful atractive mall with lots of parking bays and security is very tight. Can't wait to be back again
Best place to gamble and eat food, osum service and safety precautions for covid ristrictions is very high, safe and secure
Not much of a variety to eat or do such as couples or children lost many times not got over 1k since
Pro's-great staff, brand new machines, fast service, looks glamorous, security helpful.
Cons- I've tasted better food for cheaper, limited mobility because of size and amount of people
Highly secured, under surveillance and securities always alert, safe and beautiful inside well trained stuff.
The machines bugged out on cashout a few times and even "lost" my balance while the screen freeze up.
They are short staffed due to covid downsize.
Management verbally abusive and all sorts of treats.
