I brought my car in for a suspected coolant leak - they proceeded to tell me there were 3 different leaks and it would cost me almost R10 000. That didnt sound right to me so I fetched my car and drove to my hometown to a mechanic I trust who told me that there were no problems with my car and explained that my aircon was condensing causing me to think there's a leak. I was also told there would be no inspection fee and when I came to fetch my car they suddenly expected me to pay an inspection fee. I can say that they were polite and accepted my reasoning as to why I will not be paying the inspection fee. But other than that I would not recommend:)

Service was amazing, been here twice for my servicing and the staff was really friendly and helpful, I would highly recommend

Was quoted prices for after market spare parts to repair my care, found out that the prices was similiar to that of the agents prices and that the after market prices quoted was inflated by about 3 times (thats 300%)
so if you rich and stewpid best place to go to is cartime umhlanga, such a rip off, will never ever go to any car time workshop ever again, dont even know how people like this are allowed to trade

We had a terrible experience just a week ago at another workshop so we were very doubtful going to CARtime to have our brakes done. We were thoroughly impressed with the service and communication - they even went out of their way to screw in the bumper that had nothing to do with the brakes.
Keep this up CARtime - in today's world customer service like this is very hard to find. We will definitely be returning and referring clients to you!

I Took my car for a service, wat a mistake, unfortunately for the rest of the team very bad work ethics, they checked my door mechanism and damaged the window rubber in which they did not tell me it is damaged, after I took the car for a test drv I noticed the rubber is coming out I had to take it back to them which they could not sort out and told me they damaged it and will replace it at their cost, they did replace it the next day however the replacement was not 100 percent it is better but terrible work. They also dented the car near the window area and denied it, they the only ones worked with it the same area where they worked they caused a dent the manager Kevlin said he will check the camera but before even checking he persisted it is not them yet I got proof of the pics before and after.it proves the mark was not there no dent at all but after they worked on it the dent it is exactly where they worked and the equipment that they used def caused it luckily it's not a hole. He still has not gotten back to me but it's their camras I dnt have access to it so they can say anything, based on my pic before allowing them to replace the rubber the dent was not there only afterwards it was there. I will never advise anyone to go there it will cost u more.worst service ever instead of apologising the manager is rude they act like they doing u a favor yet u paying for a service. While I was there another complain occured. I will definitely be taking this matter higher as the proof speaks for itself. Cartime worst company ever I have checked other branch reviews it is pathetic it sad how they even exist.now I wonder who will fit the bill and sort the dent out I'm sure they will come back with their manipulated stories they did not cause the damage.let's wait and see if it is positive and they correct their mistake I will advise with their rating.

Excellent service received from the team at Umhlanga, took my vehicle in for some major repairs and they kept me updated on the progress throughout until my car was ready. My car drives perfectly now. All my future vehicle repairs will now be at Cartime Umhlanga. Thanks guys, keep up the great work.
