Dr. U. COVENDEN , Greencross medical center

It was my first visit to Dr Covenden, I had went in with flu like symptoms and my ears were blocked he had checked my ear and said I have hemotoma in my ear and can lose hearing in one ear, he gave me generic Ibuprofen for pain. He then called an ENT specialist too refer me to with out a referral note. Knowing that without a referral note from a GP I would then have to pay cash. After calling the specialist he tells me I have to be there in 20 mins. I get to the ENT who only does cash only with out a GP referral. The ENT was very amazed that the GP only saw me for the first time with the symptoms I was presenting had referred me. The specialist then diagnosed me with a mid ear infection and prescribed me antibiotics which Dr Covenden could have done. The only reason for going to him was that I am a new member of momentum and he is one of the doctors listed. Would never go there again.

Excellent service from the entire team. Helpful and friendly reception and Dr Covenden is attentive and thorough. Made a last minute appointment at Green Cross Medical and received more help in one appointment than I had with my previous GP who I had visited for 5 appointments prior, he listen to my concerns and my 3 year old who had been sick for 6 months was diagnosed with bronchopneumonia. I would highly recommend Dr Covenden.

Been visiting Dr since the birth of my first child 19yrs ago, since then he has constant warm, friendly staff. Even himself stay young and excellent in his profession. Keep up the great service to our community

20 Years as a patient at the Green Cross Medical Centre. The service received is always excellent. The Staff are extremely warm and receptive.

An attentive and empathetic Doctor with the staff to match. Patient care is priority and treatment is excellent. If you're new to the area and looking for a family gp with a host of services in one place, I highly recommend GREENCROSS MEDICAL CENTRE more especially Dr. U Covenden. I have moved to Chatsworth and visited local GP's and I would rather drive there than be exposed to inferior treatment. Thank you team GCMC. God bless you all

Dr covenden is the best.he listens to his patients concerns and give good advice aswell.will advice anyone to go to him.staff are very friendly and helpful.

Bad experience today. Staff are very rude cut the call on me. She told me Doctor will phone but never did so.its all about the money.

Dr Covenden & his staff are exceptional, they go above and beyond the call of duty.from personal experience i would gladly refer family and friends to Dr Covenden.

The doctor himself is lovely and helpful however during Covid last year the lady at the front desk was extremely rude and turned us away as we paid cash during our previous visits and did not want to accept our medical aid on a Sunday so that was fine however I went back on a week day and she found another reason to turn us away stating she needed to get authorization. (i think it was too much work for her to get authorization) however authorization was not even required
I seriously think that the doctor needs more people centric staff to run his practice as the doctor himself is actually complete opposite to his rude staff members.

The doctor and staff are phenomenal.
This has been my family GP for around 20 years
I refer to the receptionists as "medical angels" as they are always friendly and willing to assist.
During the very challenging period of Covid, they worked under tremendous pressure being frontline workers
They had to keep themselves safe, be efficient, and also perform their daily duties with a smile on their face.

Great experience as a first timer. I barely waited to be helped when I checked in. The staff at Greencross Medical Center were all very friendly and helpful. I especially loved how Dr. U Covenden really took his time to explain my conditions with me as well as my treatment options. I had a great visit and the doctor’s demeanor has really put me at ease so I highly recommend this Doctor.

Dr U Covenden is an excellent doctor. He is caring towards he's patients. Will definitely recommend him. He gives excellent advice and treatment.

I phone the receptionist answered i asked her are they private or government she rather ask me what? She don't just give info i need to tell her what i want.so unprofessional dont know how to work with people.i phoned from pta not knowing if they private or government.
