Durban Bus Station

How can a bus station not have bathroom facilities for their customers? !
Me and my sister were at the bus station for 8 hours and we had no bathroom facilities for that time! For 8 hours! I tried to go to the bathroom, but then I was told to pay and there were other ladies as well and they didn't pay to use the bathroom but I must. And to put the cherry on the cake is that it is a male in the female bathrooms demanding money only from certain people. And when I pointed out that why must I pay and others don't, the man wanted to come with his threats and stories. This bus station doesn't care about the customer and it is very clear.

My trip was horrible the bis was dirty, drivers had bo respect at all. I will never ever use Greyhound buses

Visited this place to fetch a customer traveling from free state according to his experience it was not to standard his bus broke down twice

Good experience from the station, it's safe and secured by security and policeman. I love the fact that you can easily access the office of your Bus and make inquiries where applicable. It's advisable that you arrive 30 minutes before your bus to avoid panicking and might forget your belongings. Durban Station is good hasn't changed much.

Place needs, restructuring or renovation, as compared to park Station in JHB or the Bus station in Cape Town

The bus companies are shut down the ones working wooooooh they are aggressive intercape receptionists there's this guy with a weird haircut lies just for you to buy the most expensive ticket but there are cheaper ones other then that the station is awesome and you feel safe

This a very basic to only board or disembark and leave immediately. There are no shops here, buy your stuff to eat in the bus before you reach the station. It's deteriorating than before, the toilets are so filthy that you don't have to think that there are toilets there.

Horrible dirty place no decent toilet facilities or anywhere to buy food. Even Cape Towns bus station is better than this one and that is not the best one out.

It's awesome for u get to choose the kinda coach u want but it is not a safe place because the isn't an indoor shelter to wait in if your coach arrives early in the morning.

Durban is the place to be and it is very beautiful place.just take a walk at Masabalala Yengwa Avenue at Main Concord Durban Station. It is neat and clean and with the old train on exhibition.

This station is always busy, loads of people, busses and taxis. The parking seem a bit disorganized, and you get charged R15 to go into the parking even if it’s just to drop someone or pick someone up.
It’s recommended to arrange to meet just outside the bus stop or at the petrol station.
Be vigilant, though, as security doesn’t seem to be present at this bus station.

Busy inter-city bus terminal with numerous operators. Situated on the ground floor of the busy Durban Railway Station. Always busy and bustling with lots of taxi operators. A budget hotel is situated on the same site as well.

Terrible attitudes and terrible service. Didn't even get on the bus that I paid twice for, as they couldn't find my booking on the system.
I will never use intercity again.complete waste of time, energy and money

Abit smaller than Park station (Joburg) and kind of abit scary cos it dark!
(Durban Municipality i believe your can work on that lightening) but all and all it very easy to find and quite simple to get transport to wherever you wanna go to from there

Doesn't look safe, no dedicated place to ask for information, no shop's. If your shuttle is going to be late it's a problem.

Transportation hub with long distance trains and loval trains. Bus terminus for long distance travel. Long distance and local taxis just outside the terminus. The station is located in less than a kilometre to the nearest beachfront. The place is however poorly maintained especially the bathrooms that are always dirty. Unlike the Jhb Park Station, there are no shops or restaurants.

Pathetic condition! Only one coffee shop to buy tea or coffee or other snacks and loose cigarets down stairs. Dirty and scary place but you can get bus where u wanna go.

Very busy bus station a lot of bus services available only problem was very busy and not enough seats at the waiting rooms but clean and friendly service
