Fego Caffe / FÁBRICA @ Glenore Centre

Basing this review on two visits to the restaurant. First we went for lunch which was amazing - lovely variety of drinks and lunch options.
The breakfast menu looked amazing so we can back the next morning. I left here a little disappointed this morning with my meal. The meal that came was not the meal in the description.
I am willing to give them another try and they have such an extensive menu with so many options.

They couldn't make any pizza, because they said, they don't have a pizza machine. This only after I decided what I want to eat. I don't know how long they have been at Glenore, but surely long enough to order one.

They also didn't have ANY gluten free options. They also couldn't serve a milkshake jar.

They took almost 45min to bring our food order and another 15min for the last person to get theirs. The portion sizes where small and the food was bland.

I am not going back and I wouldn't recommend anyone else giving them a try.

I was at Glenore fabrica for breakfast the vibe was so wonderful and our breakfast was yummy. I need to know the drug taken by the gentleman who was running the floor I dont know whether he is a manager or what because he wasnt wearing uniform, He is so friendly and the communication between him and the waiters was top notch.well done Glenore fabrica I will implement your vibe in my store (JHB)

Best place to chill for breakfast or brunch, they serve breakfast for the whole day with lots of choices. Light meals are available, only concern are with their options with juices

Shared many experiences good & not so great personal times but always felt a lot better when leaving after the amazing coffee & lunches served here)

So the Hazelnut iced latte is good as per my 18 yr old brother's standards. Bought the worst piece of dense, skimpily iced, possibly stale choc cake at R55 per slice which caused food poisoning to both my mom and myself. Looks are very much deceiving. Even the icing tasted like it was starting to go off. The worst I've ever had! Truly disappointing as this was a real waste of my time and money especially when you want to hit that craving! Never again Fego! Furthermore why are there no contact numbers for the Fego branch at Glenore?

I must say were a bit disappointed in there hamburger patties. It were all just bread and hardly any meat. I had better before. Not there normal standards I am afraid to say. Someting whent wrong. Can they please fix the problem because I still would like to go back there. Thanks

Being Sunday, during covid, this Fego was pretty empty. Willing waitresses. My take away order came pretty quickly. If busy there is ample parking

Overall: Disappointing. Beef/ beans Flatbread very tasty. Coffee good, but only available in small cups, unlike every major competitor. No tap water allowed either - only $$$ bottled water. Fair enough.but.then there should be service to match. Spending 10 minutes to get the bill is a bitter pill for breakfast. Nice positioning and convenient access, but then there are countless other coffee shops in the area offering that.without the drawbacks.

Great food, friendly staff and a good atmosphere. Prices could be a little cheaper but overall not bad for the location.

We are regulars at Fego, Glenore Centre. The cappuccino's are perfect, the service friendly and efficient. The breakfast menu is good and their light lunches are perfect. Recommended.
