This is a lovely restaurant tucked away in a beautiful estate. Friendly and welcoming staff, stunning ambiance, delicious scrumptious food that is reasonably priced. Great views of the golf course. The calamari is a winner, the steak is cooked to perfection, I absolutely loved the Tzatziki sauce on the platter. 5/5!

The food was amazing, the views are magnificent, however i was very disappointed with your female waitresses, especially the fair, tall African lady with blond hair (i didn't get her name) she was very rude (she changed the table i had booked and became rude and sarcastic when i spoke to her about it), and during our stay, the conversation she had with her female colleagues about other customers was also very rude and sarcastic. I was served by KB and he did an exceptional job Please train your female waitresses on customer service and the conversations they can have infront of customers.

Had a table if rowdy golfers next to us.
Waitress spilt gin all over my wife's phone. - literally needed to check if the phone still worked. Waitress was clueless.

Being locals we always knew the food has been fantastic here, but Chef Godfrey really outdid himself yesterday. One of the best, if not the best, meals I have ever had. If I could have hugged him for creating such a perfect meal I would have! Service was on point, restaurant clean and staff friendly. Can't wait to come back.

The fig tree is one of my favorites in Ballito. It over looks a beautiful gold course, with plenty of outdoor entertainment for the kiddies. It's central and has two other options on site. Their food is outstanding, with exceptional service

Wow! Just wow to everything about this place. Had the buffet previously and wasn't disappointed. Returned to try Chef Godfreys special chicken curry and it was absolutely amazing. It's definitely up there with the best curry on the North Coast. Served with sambals, chutney, lime pickle, roti, papadum, a sweet corn samoosa and rice makes this special Kenyan derived dish an absolute must try if you stay in the area. Great value for money!
The whiskey sour was done perfectly and the staff are the friendliest and most professional around.
It's difficult to find places with such an all round 5 star performance but this gem is definitely one of those. Excellence on a consistent basis.

Reasonable beef filet and chocolate cake. But after checking if the pork belly is crackling - answer was yes - got a mediocre with zero crackling pork belly.
So a 4 for the filet, but only 1-2 for the pork belly.

I honestly have a love and hate relationship with Fig Tree. They're not consistent. Just when I try something and it's amazingly great. Boom next time it's terrible service and below standard food. So hey. It's one of those things

An excellent spot inside Simbithi Estate with a beautiful view of the golf course. The play area is well maintained and suitable for kids of all ages. Enjoy sundowners, a hearty cooked meal or a stunning glass of wine from the extensive wine list. Worth a visit for young families

Lovely to sit on the verandah overlooking the golf course. The service was good and the meal delicious.

Their change rooms are neat and clean. Have everything one can need away from home: shower- private individual change cubilcle- mirrors- hairdryers- carpeted floor- and couches

Great place, the food was reasonably priced and delicious, the kiddies' play area is the main reason we went and it didn't disappoint, all with a stunning view. Highly recommended
