Chrys was exceptional in service when we attended the restaurant. 10 out of 10 experience. Her food recommendations were spot on. Had a delicious sea food platter.

Visiting Ladysmith, had a scrumptious Lamb Curry at Guinea Fowl Restaurant, served by the most professional and polite waitress JD who is actually the Manager at this restaurant. Excellent service

Our overnight in Ladysmith wasn't complete without a visit to this place. Unsure what we would find, we were amazed to see the place was packed with a group of Japanese people visiting Ladysmith, so were happy to snag a table.

It's often difficult to judge where to get a lekker meal in a place you're visiting for the first time.

We're happy to report, when in Rome, eat what the Romans eat! This is beef country, so order a steak. I ordered the Mexican mumble, mumble and my partner ordered the kebab. Both needed to be done rare. And was this well executed? ABSOLUTELY! Both rare, both excellent. Just amazing for an out of the way place. I'd have paid good money for this, but surprisingly it was most reasonable.

The waitress was, by admission, a 10-year veteran at the restaurant and she was really good.

It's a buzzing place on a Saturday night. Well worth the visit.

This restaurant has very poor service and the food was terrible.

I visited this restaurant on the 19 jan 2020 when we celebrated my brothers 60th birthday. The service then was good as compared to my last visit.

Disappointed

One star is an overstatement.
Horible slow service,
Food barely barely cooked correctly,
No attention whatsoever from the staff
I was even served wine in a gin glass!
Dont even waste your time going there.

Drinks came in a chipped/cracked glass that was sticky underneath which led me to believe the drink was spilled and cracked at the same time, chicken mexicana was raw and unedible.won't be dining here again.

My wife and I are on a golfing week away from home and decided to have supper at The Guinea Fowl Restaurant. Excellent service and the best seafood platter in many years. Well done to the chef & Monica

Food is good. Sipho was central in a positive experience in an unknown place (thanks). Decor is a bit outdated, but still a good experience.
