Fish was nice and chips, service was great. I forgot the name of the lady that was serving us, She's pregnant. Well done she was friendly. I wouldn't mind coming back again

Awful experience. Got my order wrong even though I specifically asked NOT to do the in house basting sauce on the prawns which they did. Food was cold, prawns stuck to the shell, normally they have staff to watch the kids at the play area which was not the case this time. Not the first time having a bad experience at john dorys. After using my loyalty card I was asked to rate there service online which I did. I was sent an email stating a manager on duty will contact me it's going to be exactly a week tomorrow and yet still no contact.

Nice food, nice atmosphere, good service and friendly staff, Nosihle and Priscilia gave the best service, I will definitely come back because of the service I got.

Not sure what happened last night but food tool over an hour to arrive with no progress reports from management

Always such a pleasure to dine at this branch. Service is always immaculate and the food is delicious and great value for money.

It was great other than the fact our waitress seemed to forget about our table and we had to call for assistance coz we got tired of waiting and looking for her
But the food and everything else was well worth it

Loved the garlic roll and chicken schnitzel, along with the really good service from Mandisa and Nkule.

We really enjoyed our experience at John Dory's. They were very accommodating and we had an excellent waiter, who was diligent and accurate with our orders, especially since we were a large group. Thank you John Dory and Team. Keep up the excellent service and delicious meals.

Loved the prompt service at this JD's. We didn't sit in, I ordered my sushi as a rake away and had it in car. It was fresh, tasty and everything I'd been wanting! Definitely worth the drive. JD stays winning, when it comes to sushi

I was disappointed with the quality of prawn that was used on their prawn sushi platter and I felt that the service could also be improved.

They have the best sushi, and the rest of the food i just wish they cud improve their customer care.

Meal prep time was efficient. Their C & C bombs tasted stale. Cuts of fish on certain pieces of sushi were too thick. Other seafood dishes were prepared well and overall experience was good.

I've always had a good experience until.
I tried ordering a small plate of chips or mashed butternut for my son & was told I could only get this in a bigger portion. No other option was made available to me. Clearly the staff at John Dorys Liberty mall don't know how to accommodate moms with little babies. I was quite disappointed and confused.
Also no booster seats for babies.
Waiter also did not ask if we have a JD card. Waiters seem a bit careless lately

As usual, the service of the staff members was excellent. Friendly staff who engaged in fun conversations with my fiancée and I. We were surprised when both of our meals were done under 20 minutes!

One dissapointment though, I wasn't 100% happy with the hake. It was surely tasty and done well but the size of them was shockingly small!

Overall experience, I'll recommend anyone to head down to the restaurant and enjoy your meal along with being surrounded by a chilled and relaxed atmosphere!

Very disappointing the service was very poor while the place was empty not a fussy patron but I cant wait for almost 10min for drinks while the place was almost empty.

Friendly staff, clean restaurant, excellent prices special for Tuesdays. Was a little let down by the veg and the coleslaw was old in its small white bowl. Looked like it had been yesterday reused. Will go again.

Don't go on Wednesday if you're not going for the sushi special. It's busy but they still take care of everyone, it's just that food takes longer.
