The service was amazing. They make you feel so at home. The food was amazing! We had a chicken special and the portion size is generous. The music was good and the overall experience was great. I would highly recommend this lovely place to anyone.

I had the prawns and chicken, the food is very good and the chicken liver was terrific, I will go back their.

Unfortunately we may have picked a bad night but boy was it a bad night.
Positive was the 6 prawns in the half chicken prawn combo. Perfectly cooked!
The chicken itself was old, either par-cooked for lunch earlier or maybe even before. Or itself the chicken that is, was terribly old and had turned that horrible rubbery texture, old chicken or reheated, not sure, but the chicken was really bad. Couldn't eat it.
We ordered a gorgonzola salad, the lettuce was completely wilted with no cheese only a strange thick salty salad dressing and in a nutshell was terrible. Couldn't eat it.
Fresh mussels normally are a favorite but had to be sent back to steam a few more minutes. Bread was stale.
But the worst part was that everything was completely over salted, and I eat plenty of salt.
I just hope it wasn't a deliberate attempt to mask something.
We are undecided whether to return but surely a restaurant cannot be that bad, we will be in touch with the management out of courtesy!

This restaurant has changed hands very disappointing. We sat down and didn't get the customary Portuguese rolls yet saw them on a back table. When we finally got the rolls they were stale. The so called chillie sauce was unpalatable definitely not the signature Julio recipe. Very limited alcohol no ciders. The prawns were okay. The seafood curry was awful. Not a great experience. The one table sent the Portuguese rolls back. I do not recommend this restaurant

The food is diliceous! Please keep the high standard of food, it is is now back equal to the old Days

Been coming to this restaurant for years and they never disappoint! Amazing service and delicious food! If you ever find yourself in or around this area, make sure to make this Julio's your no. 1 stop.

Ps. On this night I decided on trying out the chicken and prawn curry. The flavors dance in perfect combination, giving you the best tasting experience ever! After finishing dinner I gave back my plate cleaner than the dishwasher could make it:)

Previously I've tried the calamari, the prawns and the chicken and as I've mentioned, the quality and taste of the food is always top notch

Their seafood Paella was out of this world and worth every cent. Will DEFINITELY be going back soon. The staff and Management were on point with each of our questions.

The food at this restaurant was simply great. Freshly prepared and tasted divine. Attentive staff made for a completely satisfying experience. I will recommend this restaurant and will definitely visit again.

Ordered takeaway. Took the order and told us 30 mins but instead took much longer. It's was the first order of the day n the werent even busy. Food was poor quality, chicken was cooked well. Used to loves their food. Standards and quality certainty dropped. Gave them a few chances. This is the last.

Total Divine food. I ordered the full chicken with a sides (rice & chips) - sauce was absolutely loaded, served hot rolls whilst we waited, totally friendly staff.

Hi.the one star was actually a mistake.it was supposed to be a zero rating. We arrived at 18h45.and were rushed into placing an order for our main meal by Mervyn.and whilst we were still eating our meals.a white lady

(waitress) then asked if she could pack up our food in a doggie bag.clearly they wanted us put of your place. We paid the bill and then stopped eating and left. Never coming back.this was way before 20h00

I have travelled the world, but never had fish melt in my mouth like candyfloss. Not only did it taste fantastic, it was on their specials list for the day. I will order it again, just to see if I get the same plate. I really enjoyed myself. Where can you still get a decent meal with two glasses of wine for R150.

Great food and great company. Seafood is incredibly. Karaoke on Saturday is a real treat with some really talented singers!

Friendly restuarant, owner is always there to make sure food and things are flowing well. Good food.
