Lakeside Cafe - Coffee PMB

I only got to eat half of my delicious brekkie - I felt compelled to share with the geese gliding by on the lake, but even they were forced to share with the catfish lurking under the surface! Very nice indeed

Took 10 mins before the manager asked if we had been helped yet. Then took another 10mins or so before we decided to leave as our drinks hadn't arrived yet. Manager asked us if everything was okay, I explained the problem and didn't even get an apology. Place wasn't even that busy. Waiters obviously ignored us initially and didn't bother telling colleagues or manager that we were waiting. Avoid at all cost! Seattle down the road has better coffee anyway!

Fantastic menu, value for money and good service. I am not a huge fan of the location and would love to see this in a better spot.

We are regular visitors at Lakeside and have always enjoyed the food and the service has always been amazing. Today was SO disappointing.

Lovely warm and welcoming atmosphere. Owners make you feel so special. Staff is happy and good at their job!

Update: 23/08/2022. Went back to Lakeside for first time in years. What a disappoinment this Time around. Ordered the Kipper 95 fish breakfast and the fish was old and dried up and tasted disgusting. Like it's been in freezer for months. I ended up not eating it and only had egg and toast with coffee and left. No apologies from them. Won't go there again?

A gem of the Midlands, this! Fantastic find, with beautiful views of the lake andwater feature, excellent and friendly service. We enjoyed our brunch.

Always a nice chilled vibe st Lakeside with delicious food and some of the best coffee in town. Best burgers in the area with homemade buns and patties. Enjoy a relaxing morning over a tasty breakfast and good old Greek hospitality.

Devine food, lovely atmosphere by the lake with all the ducks and geese. And their portions are very generous

No option for zero stars. So I had to choose 1 instead. Waited an hour plus for an outside table. Was asked to follow the hostess to an available table but ended up getting shouted at by an older man (host) as the table had been reserved unbeknownst to the hostess. Found him to be extremely rude and unprofessional. Will not visit again.

Amazing food, scenery and staff. Definitely a place to visit if you are after a chilled vibe and delicious food.

First time I have been here and what a wonderful experience. The setting was really lovely, service very good and food excellent. What I really enjoyed was the menu had other than normal choices, such as lamb shanks and oxtail which is what our table ordered and it was cooked to perfection; so well done to the chef.
Ample parking available as well.
The only downside, if you can call it a downside, is a little traffic noise as the venue is not too far from the N3 highway, but this would not deter me from going back.

A beautiful place with friendly staff who check up on you, ensuring that you enjoy your meal and stay. The bird sanctuary simply adds to the tranquility of the place.

Coffee good (Lavazza) - meal not great. Service average. Unfortunately not memorable enough for me to return.
