The Bike & Bean, Durban reviews
37Beautiful facilities to enjoy a cappuccino and watch the sun rise, alittle pricey on the beverages
Lovely coffee stop. Pity we were there on a chilly cloudy windy day so can not rate fairly.
Muffins were great. Iced coffee very disappointing, no flavour at all. Service also a bit slow, place wasn’t very busy, ordered one toasted cheese and took pretty long.
Had the best breakfast and coffee, wow really impressed an that says a lot. Will definitely return again.
I really love this place! The menu is perfect. All my favourite breakfasts are on the menu. The way they serve it, turns the brekkie into an experience! A colourful experience.
Their mocca is my husband's favourite. I always take the decaff. There are various of options for non-dairy milk, which is great.
The view is simply stunning. You can always roll your table under the shade, if too hot:)
Cool, well thought place
Great place, fantastic area, nice and busy in the morning. However, their coffee is sometimes good sometimes bad. Nonetheless a lovely spot!
It's hard to find good coffee shops like this one, awesome service and such a lovely view of the beach.
I would normally rate this place highly but the last time we went there and had French Toast and Bacon - Bacon burnt and like shrapnel - Crusts for toast and leathery
Awesome little coffee shop, great view, friendly and helpful staff, great coffee and the three cheese and pesto toasted sandwiches are amazing.
Possibly the best located coffee shop in Durban, with great coffee to boot. How can you go wrong with a combination like that.
Good food and great coffee with gorgeous views. The only problem is if you go when it’s busy which is normally always on weekends, you will battle to get a seat. Also side note, they have alt milk.
Suggestion: take a picnic blanket and grab your food and sit on the grass over looking the ocean.
Love coffee? Enjoy riding? Bike & Bean Durban has got the best of both for you! They offer a range of bike hire and beach equipment rentals including body boards, skateboards, rollerblades and more! A very cool place to watch the world go by while you enjoy a delicious coffee and wholesome meal ️ They even have ceramic mugs that you can paint while you enjoy your coffee.
Best coffee ever
Good body surfing spot directly opposite. Nice to chill in the sun on the grass and drink coffee
With friends.
Excellent food
Closes early though
Great place to have coffee and a bite to eat after your morning exercise along Durban's Promenade.
Beautiful aromatic coffee and a great vibe. Good place to stop on your walk along the Durban beachfront
Bought delicious hot chocolate for the girls running school cross country on the beach and was well enjoyed.
My new favorite spot after an early morning run. Coffee is great and I always order their full house breakfast bun. A great meal after a long run.
The waiters are friendly and the food was okay, but I was served food on a rusted enamel plate. Also, one kitchen worker threw out dirty water on the grass near our table. I did enjoy the view of the sea. It has great potential if cleaned up a bit.
Sorry to say the food was not up to scratch. The muffins were overdone and extremely dry. It is a beautiful spot
