The atmosphere is impeccable. Service is great, slow, but very friendly staff. Small secluded coffee shop. Just for a time out.

Singularly the best and most convenient pizza place on the whole of the Berea. Call when you're 20 minutes away and collect when I drive past. Heaven!

Simply the best pizza in Durban. Coffee is also outstanding. Can't wait to have pizza again.

What a cool evening! First timer at The Coffee Tree for the Doughpamine pizza evenings and it did not disappoint. Judd is a warm and welcoming host and the pizza is so damn tasty!

This is a hidden gem. Sitting outside in dappled sun with 10 other wonderful friends sharing the most magnificent food and best butternut soup ever was my experience yesterday. The attention to service, quality, atmosphere and the friendliest staff. Thank you Judd. Gerald and I will become regulars. I suggest you make a point of visiting this exceptionally quaint coffee and lunch venue and the best pizza after 6pm. Open all week days.

Came here for breakfast, was completely disappointed. It was so bland and tasteless. We tried to give the owner some feedback but clearly he seemed very uninterested. If you're a food enthusiasts like me, who loves good food I really think you should find an alternative. The waitress was very nice though.

I went here to grab coffee after a workout session with a group. Lovely coffee shop. I especially enjoyed the outside seating area, so calm and relaxed. Friendly service. They had dog treats available for the dog that was with us. Definitely a lovely discovery.

Cute and cozy, it's so relaxed. The menu is simple and packs a punch. Great food and the service is outstanding. This is going to be my new regular sopt.

A hidden gem I just had something to drink but the owner did mention the bagels was freshly made daily I will most definitely go back love the space the atmosphere picture perfect. If you in the area pop by you won't go wrong.

I lurked at this lovely place for most of the day waiting for my TB test results. The staff were uniformly polite and helpful, as was the energetic owner, Judd, who frequently popped by to chat and help me select something marvellous from the small but excellent menu. Highly recommended.

The quintessential café experience that leans on outdoor seating that sits on the edge of a small park. A café atmosphere that is unique and that leaves you wanting more of what Coffee Tree has to offer.

I had the bagel with scrambled egg, crispy bacon and cream cheese. The bagel was perfectly chewy with everything being in perfect ratio to one another. Absolutely delicious! I finished off with a super tasty hot chocolate topped with marshmallow. Left with a smile. Would definitely recommend!

Such good coffee! Refreshing menu with scrummy food at very reasonable prices. I go as often as I can to soak up the vibe of the staff and the pink interiors.
