Service was outstanding food was good. I could have done with some salt on the table but everything was nice and it was a good corner spot. I also could do with a hotter sauce. Thanks guys a lovely experience will definitely come back .

The food is always well prepared.

There's a wide variety of items to choose from on the menu.

The eating rooms are cosy and I like that they are split in many sections which gives you more privacy.

GODFATHER PRAWNS delicious. Must try!

Service is decent but can be a bit more snappy and sharper.

Our table was booked 2 weeks in advance and table laid to accommodate our group. Our waiter was friendly and provided us with great service. The food was on point, especially the most succulent prawns. Overall we had a lovely evening and would like to thank Vapor Café for making it so.

It was Date day with hubz and Vapor café was the pick of the day. The Jalapeno poppers were divine starters, followed by my main which was half peri- peri/ half lemon/ garlic prawns.divine, whilst Hubz enjoyed the chicken which was top- notch.
Great place to chow down with tantalizing Strawberry mocktails. Great place! Will return for sure!

Of course prawns are great.
Sushi is good. Nice deals.

I don't do mutton or lamb but vapors lamb curry, even if you just dip into the gravy with roti or garlic bread is boss.

We visited thee infamous Vapor Cafe on the 29.12.2021 and found ourselves drowning in disappointment

All the boasting about vapor cafe left us with no choice but to make this our first stop after the long journey from jhb

The food was perfect however the service was not up to standard.

This was such a let down. The night began with the waiter informing us that the starter we wanted was out of stock. So we ended up ordering samosas as a starter.

Our starter arrived with our food and defeated the purpose of ordering a starter. Waiter did not check on us to see if we needed anything else while we were having our meal.

We waited for ever for our waiter to order dessert followed by an even longer wait for our bill

We requested complimentary sweets she went to check and did not return

When we bumped into her on our way out she says that all the sweets was finished.

This is utterly disappointing and while this was our first time there it would most likely be the last due to this experience.

The owner was very accommodating. The service was excellent. The mutton curry and rice as well as the t bone steaks were very tasty.

3 stars because the Elderly Man that sits outside is very rude, he needs some etiquette lessons. Hardly any Covid protocols were followed, there was no sanitiser visible anywhere, besides the entrance & that was broken. The staff tests the Hookah before it is given to customers, the tips are changed but that is extremely unhygienic. We watched this. The upstairs area is claustrophobic. We ate and left immediately. The sushi and prawns were Vapors redeemer. I Do not understand the Hype about Vapor honestly.

Most overated place in durban. So much hype and talk about the venue and food only to be disappointed by average food, nothing to rant or rave about. Just plain basic fast food. People from Durban, I can't understand what's the noise about

Best halaal restaurant in terms of food, service as well as atmosphere in Durban. Located central near most eating areas with roadside parking, security guards and wheelchair friendly facilities. Offering sit in as well as take out and cater for functions.

Excellent food, decor & chairs need to be upgraded. For the prices that they charge they definitely should change their chairs. Lots of stains & dirt marks on them.

Halal restuarant. Awesome food. Good location and especially great for the younger crowd. Lovely people from all over the country dine here. Pricing great.

Vapor cafe is ALWAYS ON POINT. Whether you're talking to their friendly and helpful staff, ordering one of their mouth watering dishes - of which they have TONS of options - or just sitting back and enjoying the atmosphere, this is the place to be. Would definitely recommend and will always return to this amazing place

I was expecting ordinary food at this restaurant, ordered my chicken meal, and left satisfied.

The portions are huge, the dish could easily feed 2 adults, so you definitely get your monies worth.

I would surely visit here again, if I ever visit Durban.

2nd visit to this restaurant and they are very kind to offer water, dates and soup (haleem) on the house to allow us to break the fast.

Very busy make sure you make a booking in advance to avoid disappointment, good food worth the wait

Long wait for food, however the food was exceptional. Bookings are necessary for table reservations especially from Friday to Sunday.
