Lion's Guesthouse and The Buck&Lion Restaurant

The place is beautiful but I wish they can put it on their website that it is not self catering and alcohol from outside its not allowed we had to go somewhere else for day visiting to chill braai and have our drinks and went back just to sleep

The lodge is excellent but the is shot of refrigerator into the room. They must also switch on the water in time may be around 5: 00am because some of people are leaving at 6 am. So u will find that there's loadshedding and no water

Had a great time and very friendly service from the staff on Saturday night. Lovely venue. Have flea markets at month end too. Will visit again.

It's a great place to be, the service is excellent and the Manager and staff members are very friendly and welcoming.

Something to experience. Friendly staff. They attend to your personal needs and the food is great. Great atmosphere.

Rooms are cleaned well & staff is very friendly. Breakfast was always late and the food wasn't great. Menu isn't diverse or inclusive of diets that don't eat red meat. Didnt have much to eat so I would eat at the mall. The towels I got were old and yellow and I didn't like that. They offer affordable laundry services which I liked but I requested for an iron and I was told guests don't get irons, they have to use the laundry service and pay for the ironing.

Clean, good quality, food is great and very safe. The only issue I had was when they called us that we should be in by 9pm as they lock the gates and also not allowed to move around as the security alarms are activated half of the lodge and they have such a nice restaurant and beautiful garden that you can't access to stay a couple of hours while enjoying your Bev.

We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch as we came up from Gauteng to visit our children and grandchildren. The food portions are also very large and very tasty. Thanks to all.

Restaurant kitchen closes at 15h00 on Sunday. Friendly staff, but dont even try to pitch up at 14h45 to order anything.

Really comfy place for overnight accommodation. Bedrooms are modern and very convenient. Will definitely come back
