Pendleberry Grove Holidays

After booking I saw the negative reviews , I called the establishment and was told by Sello the concern of cleanliness was of no worry because it was cleaned by a dedicated cleaning team , he says the noise must be reported to reception.when I arrived ,reception was closed , was given a key by security , I found cockroaches running around the unit , I had noise from an event speaker being used at another unit till 1am then there was arguing and screaming from the same unit . I asked for a full refund and was only refunded 2 days , the place is infested with bugs , reception was closed so no one to complain to , security was not bothered with noise , the curtains are filthy the walls and celings are full of cobwebs .a pool that can only accommodate 20 kids max , is the main pool for 100 chalets .
What’s most frustrating is after calling ahead of time with my concerns of cleanliness nothing was done , I have all the pics of the bugs and voice notes of the noise sent to owner for full refund but again only got refunded 2 nights , booking dot com has not even responded yet .
DO NOT BOOK AT THIS ESTABLISHMENT IT IS A HEALTH HAZARD .

It was my first and last I set my foot in that place, the chalets were filthy dirty especially the bathroom. Not forgetting that we have to buy your own toilet paper. I will never recommend the place to anyone. They don't even deserve one star rating. Khathutshelo

The flat was clean and welcoming. Play erea was big enough.braai erea. Working bathroom. We really enjoyed our stay

Convenient location and clean chalets. Need a slight update to furnishings and a few more dishes! But welll worth the stay.

The kitchen cutlery, crockery, stove, microwave was filthy, we called house keeping to wash the dishes, no pots to cook in, we could not use the wardrobes as there were spider webs and dust everywhere in rooms, we had to call house keeping again. The patio was full of leaves and cigarettes, the outside bin smelled like there was a rotten rat. The towels still had hair in it, so we had that returned too. I don't recommend anyone to stay there.

This place is so gloomy an unattractive, with a vintage smell.there were very rowdy neighbors as well. The unit did not have 2pin plugs, shampoo, and remote batteries.we notified reception and the owner and they never got back to us.

There is no warm pools
The day I went it was raining, their drainage system is poor.
The room i booked some tv channels were not showing, curtains were falling. They must hang nice curtains again.

It was OK, except for the noise people were playing loud music and the swimming pools were always full with drunk people breaking beer glasses. Couldn't even take my kids to swim coz even the pool for kids was full of adults washing their feet. Apart from that the room were clean and comfortable. We find a way to entertain ourselves.

This is a best place to be, enjoyed my weekend there, but I feel like they should do something about the kitchen, that's my only problem

Very poor service. The units are old and not well maintained. Bed mattresses in bad shape, when I requested for them to be changed, my request was declined, our unit did not even look well clean with spider webs in the bedrooms.

Personally had to start cleaning and dissinfecting upon arrival. Never again. Cheap is expensive really

This place is dirty, old and the rooms are small and poor service. The cleaners stole my phone management couldn't help me they gave us a run around. We were the only guests there it was the only place available at Bela Bela I know that why it was empty.
