Waterberg Game Park

Wonderful in the Bush.no wifi in the houses.yeee.we enjoyed that.there was wifi connection at office block and restaurant area.

The frontline young receptionist is not upto standards, she's not wecoming nor is she fort coming with information and is quiet rude, condensing and unaccommodating to non white visitors.

The resort needs more facilities to entertain older children. The current entertainment facilities is for junior kids 10 years and under.what are the older kids expected to do for entertainment? The pool and the area around it is to small and not clean, feeling it needed daily maintenance because the water looked like it was 1 day away from going green. There are not enough sun deck chairs to accommodate more than 3 - 4 families at any given time. Where does the rest of the swimmer's/ lounge?

I hope the wifi /fiber is sorted out soon. If you planning to have a working holiday don't waste your time and money the wifi was down and a struggle to get onto. IT is invisible sadly.

On a positive note the restaurant staff were very friendly and helpful.

The Chalets are lovely and comfortable. But there needs to be updated / matching cutlery, Crockery and Glassware, cooking cutlery and serving dishes as well. The pots are to small for a six sleeper. The towels had a horrible damp smells that lingered on your skin after a shower not the feeling / sensation you are expecting after a shower.

I guess the resort is in the middle of an upgrade hopefully it will be upto 4.1 or 5 star expectations soon, hoping it will include predators as well when going out on the game drives and not the current antelope and buck that's currently there. There are no phones linked to the reception and once they closed you on your own until the next day.

Staff were friendly & helpful. We had a leaking geyser Sunday morning. Didn't wait 5 minutes for Maintenance to attend to the problem once reported.

I asked my girlfriend to marry me at the resort, they were very helpful in organizing a picnic basket for us on the house with a free game drive.

I would like to thank every person at the resort helping me make it a special day for her.

Wonderful staff, wonderful hiking trails, wonderful accommodation, was fantastic to walk amongst all the wildlife, would definately recommend the giraffe trail.

It's a beautiful resort. The chalets are well maintained and it was a great experience with the wildlife Roaming between the chalets. No cellphone or data networks available except for at the little shop in the resort. Loved the vacation ️

Accommodation very good. Restaurant was complete failure. Food was not good, and not a good choice on menu to choose from.

What a beautiful resort. Such a pity that we had NO WATER for our entire weekend. Pretty disgusting considering we are in a pandemic. Staff should have been seeing that we had fresh water continuously BUT NO ONE followed up not a manager in sight to complain to either. Very disappointing.

I definitely won’t be coming back. Staff were rude and we had no water we had to fight for water to be delivered to our units because pumps were broken. I understand that your pump was broken but at least look after your guests you are supposed to be a 3 star hotel and we are in the middle of a global pandemic and you have posters in all the units on how to wash your hands but yet we couldn’t do that and there was no sanitizer in any of the units.

Enjoyed our stay. Restaurant has a limited variety on the menu but fine for a short stay if you are not in the “self-catering” mood for the duration of your stay. Facilities are in a good condition but they are also adding new modern chalet’s at the moment which looks great

Lovely, quiet and well equiped accomodation. Friendly and efficient staff.
Some chalets' parking area is just ridiculously far from the chalet.

Absolutely appalling service by staff received this past weekend. NO water for the whole weekend, we had to beg numerous times to be told, to use the dam water to cook and clean. The gentleman and lady at reception showed no interest to assist us.

We asked to speak to the manager but were told he/she is unavailable as they are off.

Sadden that we experienced such a horrible weekend at this beautiful resort, all due to their rude and unhelpful staff.

Quiet getaway near to nature yet with beautiful swimming facilities, putt putt, tennis etc. Lovely restaurant and bar with seats in open.
The dwelling units are very comfortable and meets all requirements with excellent own braai facilities. Cleaning services are daily and staff are properly trained, friendly and very helpful. Assistance starts with downloading of baggage and food on arrival and exit. Enjoyable game drives with informed ranger.
If you enjoy nature away from city lights at affordable price this is it. Current units being upgraded at present

The game drive is well worth the money spent. Our driver "Doc" displayed a good sense of humour. His driving and manoeuvring skills of the vehicle were faultless.

Beautiful nature at your doorstep with several hiking trails. Clean and functional accommodation. Friendly staff.

Such a beautiful resort. Staff is very good. Clean and neat. Everything in the units works as it should. Will definitely visit again. Highly recommended.

Perfect for a retreat and when you don't want people to bother you. Just drive with an SUV. The gravel is friendlier.

Incredible family get away with so many activities for everyone in the family. Staff were so awesome and there is a great on sight restaurant. Activities go from hiking to, kayaking, fishing a pool, multi purpose court, chess, swimming with a slide and multiple jungle gyms and a giant air bag. Would highly reccomend this. Buck and warthog roam free and there games drives give you a chance to get up close with wildlife. The room srr well equipped and cleaned daily. We will be back soon.

What an amazing place. Everything you need is available. Staff very accommodating and helpfull. Only negative was that the shop with supplise were very expensive. Other than that pack your bags and visit Waterberg Game Park

Had a very pleasant stay. Great amenities and surroundings. Exelent service from all staff making one feel very welcome. Not a single price on any product @ their convenient store and R40 for a single Magnum ice cream is day light robbery so bring your own desert!
